Crazy layout man. I would say forget the guards on the straightaways. If it derails... well it would be cool to see a locomotive SMASH into the floor at that height, connecting rods and wheels flying everywhere! ha ha. Love the 2055, that's the one I have and my all time favorite. check out some of my videos!

my dad has the same idea in my the basement, except hes an HO guy, i'm an O guage person myself. It's huge, goes over the washing machine, and also through a huge storage cabinet. I have a 2065, but the only difference is the front boiler cover
