I NEED THIS! I have all these on DVD and a documentary, where did you get this? I have the TV series too and a bunch of comics too and also that is a pic of Caesar on the front. oh how much did this cost?
I Occasionally Come Across A Movie Where The Disc Is A Little Harder Then Normal To Pull Out. Sometime I Think if I Try To Hard I Bend The Disc In Half Lol.. This Is A Nice Set Though.
lmfao, he struggles to get a fucking disk off of a small gel peg... oh my fucking god, this is why people sell carton openers for orange juice, people like this will buy them... otherwise he will make a review saying that the orange juice carton is to thick and the glue they used to close it is to strong and then he will try to open it while making the same uunnnggguuummmm noises
@ErikVaughnDillinger So, you've certainly have this set and have actually tried using said gel pegs? This is the only Blu-ray set to ever use them. Why? Because people hated them and they're a risk to the discs, leading to a mountain of complaints to Fox on the issue. They will eventually fall off leaving the set prone to significant damage. Plastic backers are fare more logical.
@ErikVaughnDillinger I have the set and it is a pain to put in in and take it out without feeling like you are going to break it. The gell sucks and you have to spin it around and disintegrate it then the discs are too big then they fall off... Just get the bluray to see what i am talking about!
well I don't have planet of the apes revisited so I'm ok with that. lol by the way, the book is big, pics a big glossy, the text is ok, not bad... my god. You dorks could get a box set in a solid gold box with silver disk hubs and a fucking book written by fucking god and you would all still complain about shit. To shinny, to big, it's to perfect, to heavy...
I poped the disc hubs off- they come off kinda easily without marring the book - you can pick up - clear plastic Fellowes Adhesive CD Holders - google that - and can be placed right where the discs would go.
Great review. I own this set and I am always scared to take the discs out (off?). One of the gel tabs came off the first time I took the original out. I never watch them anymore because I am afraid the thing will fall apart!
The Animated Series was in the Caesar bust box set, as was the Burton's crappy reboot. I have the 2006 smaller version of that set, which has all five movies plus Behind the Planet of the Apes.
can be put in Spanish or Spanish subtitles only...? thanks

my suggestion is put the discs in more friendly cases before you damage them.

You know Beneath was actually one of my favorite when i was little. I can see why it's not that popular in the set but it's not that bad.
