  • Didn't expect such good English out of that guy's mouth.

  • wow, that makes so much sense now, lol

  • @eliteinventor

Wouldn't the air cleaner catch the sand?

  • I didnt learn shit

  • I always wanted to know this. Very cool

  • 192 people drive automatic

  • That's easy .. trying to find sand that got sucked up intake now thats hard ... Great vid

  • Should I take the red or blue pill?

  • I still don't get it

  • I like the black and white animations better.. :(

  • The pedal keeps falling in, i can't use the clutch after i changed the disk.

  • This guy use to be a member of MS 13.

  • this is how a "type" of clutch works. there are many different clutches. automatic clutches have many different type and amounts of clutches unlike a manual transmission.

  • You're a fucking mechanic you should know it's called an engine not a damn motor -_- sometimes I wonder man sometimes I wonder.

  • @BruceJBCpaintball

    Motor:

1: one that imparts motion; specifically : prime mover

2: any of various power units that develop energy or impart motion: as a: a small compact engine b: internal combustion engine; especially : a gasoline engine c: a rotating machine that transforms electrical energy into mechanical energy

Therefore an engine is a motor, but a motor is not necessarily an engine.

  • @smathia1 You son of a bitch..........you have me beat. And you certainly know your shit my good Sir, props I must say props.

  • @smathia1 haha your so retarded you proved your self wrong in your own comment LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @blownutsmyass How so? Maybe you should read it again because reading comprehension clearly is not your strong subject. Apparently neither is grammar.

  • @smathia1 really? thats why im like the 3rd one to call bull shit on your comments and to say you have bad grammar? WOW your more retarded then i thought. have fun being a dumbass your hole life but if you ever realize how stupid you are then maybe you could learn something. good luck living in your moms basement but she wont live forever or did you not know that ether? LMFAO!!! FAIL!!

  • @blownutsmyass That's funny because I don't see any other comments other than yours that says my comment was wrong. So please, tell me what part of my comment is incorrect.

  • @smathia1 well maybe you need to learn to read and then you could read the others. if you can't understand your own comment there is no hope in explaining anything to you

  • That was helpful...I dig it. Thumbs up.

  • People arguing on a video about a clutch system??? wtf!!

  • i lol'ed at 1:33

  • ok when i wanna change the clutch disck should i change the presure plate too? u know when u change timing belt its better to change the water pump too because u r already there and water pump might fail soon too. so when you changing the clutch do u recomend any other parts to change since u removed the trany? thx

  • @vatan1923 Yeah, I'd buy the complete 3 part clutch kit with disc, pressure plate and thrust bearing. You only wan't to do the job once!

  • @vatan1923 you should change clutch disc presure plate throw out bearing and pilot bushing/bearing depending on witch your vehicle has and have the flywheel turned by a shop or replaced. also its a good idea to change rear main seal and input shaft seal since you are all ready in there.

  • @blownutsmyass thank you very much

  • @vatan1923 no problem. always try to save some one extra work later.

  • ultimately in the end you cant work on an engine with latex gloves

  • sometimes I just dont get wats so funny with the top comment ....

  • im pretty sure i could survive an apocalypse if there's internet...i know there wont be im just saying

  • @templarmoney1 .....How would the internet even help you if it's going to be down?

  • @yourtube1234567 i said "i know there wont be im just saying"...you dumb fuck, thinking your smarter than me. im already a step ahead of you cus you're already 1 step behind me...quit tryna act smart if you cant even read fuck tard!

  • @templarmoney1

    .....okay...LOL.

One, I never said I was smarter than anyone, or anything for that matter. And I never called you dumb.

Two, I only asked a simple question because your statement didn't made no sense at all to me.

Three, learn grammar before you insult someone's intelligence.

    Finally, ummmmmm

    U mad bruh?

  • @yourtube1234567 lmao nice come back...no im not mad, well i was made before cus my manager was being a dick...but my last comment entertained me :)...i have a question though...how many times did you review your reply for errors before you posted it?...and ummmm "didnt make no sense" and who needs help over here?...at least i can talk with out sounding like a complete ghetto bastard

  • @templarmoney1

Hmm...Then I might be the dumb ass here then. Please educate me by correcting my errors so I won't make a fool of myself next time.

  • @yourtube1234567 same with me :)

  • Good video thanks for posting.

  • DFS my ass

  • dude i so totally thought you needed to bolt these on with grapefruits, think you just saved me alot of mending work

    cheers buddy

  • I still find it amazing that little disk can handle all that.

  • 1:38 - Your glove sucks. Btw thanks for vid :)

  • and thats what i payed $1100 for

  • Just like electricity and internal combustion, witchcraft is how it really works.

  • suppraaaaa yeaa aaaaa

  • @bunny9496 im pretty sure that was an eclipse

  • @poisonbreak omg i looked more clossley in the front of the car the red symbol looks like a supra symbol with the lightsss ahhaha lol

  • Comment removed

  • @poisonbreak Yup. 2GB (97-99) GS-T or GSX with 4G63T. DSM FTMFW!!!

  • @doublexero Looks like a GS-T. Reason being the exhaust curves towards the center of the car, where the transfercase/driveshaft would be. Also, I don't see a driveshaft lol

  • @tpumpiscmibicv Very true, haha. I was looking for a drive shaft, but I thought it was just my monitor being fuzzy, haha. Happy Holidays!

  • @doublexero You too man!

  • He's cute!

  • he is saying from his experience cause he is not educated on engineering

  • A VERY GOOD EXPLANATION.

  • He's working on an Eclipse...how did I know that before I even thought about clicking to watch this?

  • when animation begin 0;48 hit pause and play pause and play pause and play same think when you hit a clutch pedal,,nice tools for the clutch disc alignment look like a dick,,when you align the clutch disc you cannot see inside,,like when you lick pussy follow holes when you tongues in

  • Clutch+Kia Sorento+ driving= 8======D~~~~);

  • Dear clutch, i shouldn't have depressed you when panicking on a muddy downhill descent, sliding sideways and further scaring the shit out of me.

  • I still dont get it.

  • Oh so thats wat holds the flywheel on! Bolts!! Duh!!!!

  • In the beginning he said that the clutchdisc in bolted to the flywheel wich isn't.

If that was the case , the crankshaft would drive the transmission and there would be no need for a clutch in the first place and you couldn't stop the car unless you would turn off the motor.

You can't even start the car then because the engine would stall.

His second explanation where he his putting the parts together is right.

The pressureplate with the diafragma is bolted to the flywheel.

  • I wonder if it was a Boosted Eclipse GST or GSX. Thought it was a GSX but couldn't see the transfer case axle to the rear.

  • Shit, I'm gonna do my own clutch next time..

  • Comment removed

  • hey thanx mate :) very usefull:)

  • 38 second advert first...fucking stick it

  • I think people just click the dislike button just for the fun of it cause theres obviously nothing wrong with this video this guy is obviously a certified mechanic and is on point about this whole video

  • omg he does look like john stamos

  • And basicly the flywheel is bolted on *pause* .. with bolts.

  • @TomTom212324 he said the flywheel is bolted on the crankshaft..!

  • Muy bien, muy bien.

  • Tomorrow i am going to learn how to use the clutch at the driving lesson.... :P

  • 177 dislikers thought it was a cooking recipe.

  • My revs are almost at 0 when my foots off the gas and the car bounces like a sex toy when stationary. Whats going on? Is it the clutch.

  • @HLecterPHD It sounds like you simply might need a throttle adjustment. Not very hard. Also, check for a clogged air filter and any vacuum leaks in the hoses. Does it vibrate more when the clutch is engaged?

  • @flyboyofglam

hey thanks for your help, it turned out to be the coil-set, one pencil-coil, a common fault for Renault megane's. cheap fix. v quick.

  • A motor is electric... I think you mean an engine on the car

  • @lexoni2 A machine, esp. one powered by electricity or internal combustion, that supplies motive power for a vehicle or for some other device...

  • bene

  • That's a pretty generic auto uniform

  • Weird... his uniform looks just like my girlfriend's uniform. She works in a car repair shop.

  • Perfectly demonstrated :-)

  • i paid $500 for a cluctch job, he made it look like a $20 job

  • I bet this guy drives an auto. ;)

  • Are you listening to this Lebron?

  • @Delatimothyy LMAO!

  • i did it with nothing but a hammer and a can of dinty-moore

  • and i hate the replies top comments

  • He looks like John Stamos...

  • oooohhhhhhhhhh now i get it

  • not suppost to use a impact air gun to tight the bolt..

  • not suppost to use a impact air gun to tight the bolt..

  • never use power tools wen doing any work on cars always use hand tools

  • why would someone dislike this video??

  • hey guys...I AM NOT SURE...but I think that IF YOU CONNECT THE WHEELS THE TRANSMISSION _-_FAST_-_ WITH THE ENGINE than YOUR ENGINE WILL NOT HAVE THE MAXIMUM POWER

why???because IF YOU CONNECT THE ENGINE WITH THE WHEELS SLOW than THE CAR WILL GO ALONE BY NOT ACCELERATING AT ALL

so in this way THE ENGINE WILL NOT PULL THE WHEELS FROM ONE SHOT......THE ENGINE WILL PULL THE WHEELS FROM _-_MORE SMALLER SHOTS_-_ BECAUSE IT IS ALREADY PULLING WITH HIS OWN FORCE THE WHEELS :-B :-)

    it happened to me

  • it depends on what kind a car because some of them are complicated to work on so yeap

  • how much should a mechanic charge to replace the clutch? labor only no parts necessary because i already bought the clutch kit

  • I got here after watching helicopters

  • now i know the basic of how clutch works

  • go stickshift or go home!

  • On driving lessons, when waiting at traffic lights, instructors make their pupils put the handbrake on (nothing wrong with that), but then leave the car in 1st gear with the clutch pedal on the floor. Is'nt that gonna damage the thrust bearing?

  • clutches is for pussys

  • @UunonMopo lol literally every car has a clutch...

  • @UunonMopo Every car has a clutch, it's just that in an auto, you have no control over it.

  • @blankpaper66 even bicycle? i dont think so. bicycle is better than car or motorbike.

  • @UunonMopo Have you gone completely nuts mate?

  • @BKVisionFreePerView Just search "how to drive manual transmission car" on Youtube!

  • @BKVisionFreePerView no need to hold the brake if you shift gears. maybe if u need to reduce your speed, and shift down , but still, u dont need to do them both at the same time. Just reduce speed, hold clutch and shift down and ..drive.

  • 1:42 well now were in the hole, now line it up and there ya go haha

  • not the best explanation...

  • @AMDguy1989 How much to have it done professionally?

  • go stickshift or go home

  • I hate it when people post gay comments and get thumbs up

  • why are clutches so expensive, they look rather cheap to manufacture and install

  • but that car is just gonna crankwalk anyway!!

  • Comment removed

  • @SpadXIIIFlyer a motor does not have to be electric, an engine is a motor, your muscles are motors, of course an electro magnet motor is commonly referred to as just a motor which of course is inaccurate given how many different types there are.. i mean cars are usually called "motor cars" the ability to move your limbs are your motor skills.

  • @Arcona

I guess, again, how I was taught. And you could be like," Well, muscles move with electric inputs given off by your brain," But, eh, not worth it. However, I do appreciate that you responded with a calm response.

  • Can you imagine the guy who made the first car was like...so we create this explosion which moves this which turns this which causes this to spin which in turn drives this which goes through this gear which is held by this part which is released by this pedal and son on and so forth

  • 164 people still don't understand dumb fucks

  • Dear clutch : Thanks for making me fail in the driving test

  • @hala8hala8hala8 I know what you mean when i was doing my driving test i had a manual car and i dumped the clutch and over reved the engine and jamed it my teacher was looking at me like what the fucks wrong with you

  • sod off ford adverts! soo...carry on lol

  • Amazing how long a clutch disc (assembly) will last with the right touch, but 100s of thousands miles these days. The weak link of a manual transmission.

  • NEVER install the pressure plate with an impact gun! Those bolts should be tightened a few increments at a time until the proper torque is applied. Not doing this can result in an uneven grab of the disk. I wouldn't be surprised though if many mechanics do it this way which is why I always do this kind of work myself.

  • i hate when top comments spoil a video

  • @n8style release your hand from the desk like how you release the clutch you dumb fuck.

  • @LightofBankai doctor how much does it cost for a sense of humour transplant?

  • ballz

  • How much do u think a new clutch replacement would cost?

  • I wanna be a Mechanic!

  • you broke your rubber

  • it's not motor!...it's bolted in the engine!...engine and motor are different!..

  • Comp Clutch FTW

  • nice straight to the point explanation, thanks for that! but i think you need some new gloves;)

  • this guy went to ITT TECH.

  • @calabrese151

Bunch of gangbangers at ITT Tech according to commercials.

  • @Spyez hahahahahaha true that

  • If any1 can help..I just bought my car yesterday and i was learning to drive standard with my friend. I stalled a couple times trying to learn on a street going uphill. After the 4th time i restarted the car it hesitated and shut off, i started it again and it turned on and check engine light came on. My friend continued driving it for me and was jerking after he would reach 3000-4000 rpm . We let it cool down for 10 mins and went back to normal. But i just wanna know DID I FUCK ANYTHING UP???

  • @crazynwo the same thing happend to be today but no check engine light! itll hesitate to start up! who knows! just try not to give it too much gas ! I think thats what i tend to do but driving everyday is making me stall out less! so just keep practicing give it enough gas to move but not so much that you just look stupid haha. (i did that alot haha)

  • @crazynwo no sometimes stalling and restarting when on a significant incline will fuck up some of the fluid sensors and set the check engine light off for no reason

  • @playgroundmusicPC Hahaha, I know right?

  • 0:48 4 the animation

  • 1Deejay7

  • NO! Not this guy again! That idiot says in a another video that "turbo atomizes the air that it burns better" in my ass! Hate that idiot explaining about engines when he is the one who should be listening and learning...

  • Not bad, but clutches and release and locking mechanisms are very important. Many great inventions have this as a roadblock.

  • so now were in the hole.. we need to line it up.

    there we go.

  • page rage :(

  • im not a car guy...

    still confusing..

  • Very poor explanation. Garbled and unclear. Not a teacher.

  • Are the bolts at 1:10 what people are referring to when they talk about 6 and 7 bolt varieties of the 4G63 engine?

  • Not a bad video, but a better title would be "Clutch Assembly" since it does not go into much detail on how it actually works.

  • @MSLTUL A very poor video. Unclear.

  • Instead of using bolts that bolt up llu shuld always use self tapping nails

  • First off its not a motor, its an engine, have you ever heard of an electric engine!!!! Duh

  • @curtknows101 Thank you for sharing the same peeve!

  • Not making any sense

  • "now we're in the hole, need to line it up, and here we go...."

    Thats what she said....

  • Haha he broke his glove!

  • @Djidiesel thats what she said

  • @IsaacisaNerd LMAOFF!!!!! thats what she said!!!!

  • its not a MOTOR! its an ENGINE!

  • Try showing this video to your girlfriend

  • Why dont people slow down in their explainations? and why dont people understand that in order to understand one thing better you have to understand everything that is related to it.

  • how can you dislike a video that tells you how something works.......... like really i mean why dont you make 1 >.>..... good example bro i went to my local transmission shop and they said the exact same thing

  • cool story bro...

  • job security points for this dude, wonking the clutch cover on with an airgun will definitely make that pressure plate wear out faster, this guy will need another clutch job soon. The cover only needs about 20-25 ft/lb MAX and that is basically any car/truck

  • i need a new clutch.

  • am i the only one who likes to watch these videos to see what is wrong with them to bad this one was done half decent i did not get to laugh at stupidity time to watch expert village lol

  • @90XaSeR09 actually not goodlol he zapped the pressure plate one with air tools, they only need about 20 ft/lb of torque, airguns are usually over 100 ft/lb that disk is going to wear out way faster than if it was torqued to spec

  • @RachaelO130 I have worked in car shops and we used air tools then finished
