I was looking the Dead Radical album "Rottenness" because i liked the song that you used here, but i just find album with 10 songs , and thats the 13º lol... can someone send me the link to find that album with the demos?
@parkerman23 It shows, lol. They're not really to my taste, but the rest of the comp is really good :D. I only recently got into PV and crust, and this comp showed me a ton of really good bands.
@Basskay ah ausome, glad ya like it, u like anything in perticuler?, thers a cool powerviolence compelation, its called "BLEEEAAAAUUUGGHHH!!" thats probebly not spelld wright but something like that, has something like 100 songs on a 7", and thers a full lengh version, its a bit rair, but u could probebly find somewher to DL it:D
I find it funny that there's a whole genre called "powerviolence", and yet there's already bands that have put out material that was faster before Powerviolence was even a genre. Bands such as Wehrmacht.
@Bassbait well, wehrmacht started around the same time as powerviolence, have u heard of a band called siege from 83?, they wer a big influence on powerviolence. id say it started of as just extreme hardcore with both slow and fast riffs
@kolokyal hmm, englands pretty terrable for music, the best place for PV hardcore is probebly leeds, thers a few powerviolence bandsbands ther, Sick fuckin O, Closure, and thers a ausome hardcore band called nowher fast, i think they might not be a band anymore, my bands called lack of joe, were like punky PV
ahhhhh I get it. No effort into your craft what-so-ever implies artistic nihilism. Conforming to the non-comformists. Trying sooooo hard not to come across as someone who tries hard. Real crafty. No ones ever done that before. Lazy fucking musicians trying to hard to be ironic. This shit sucks. Leftover crack was pretty good though.
@manifestoHC iv always been a punk fan,i got into powerviolence from hardcore punk, cos it pretty much is hardcore, but faster with hevier riffs, wich got me into a bit of grindcore, not that much but some, and crust is pretty much punk tuned to c
This is how punk and hardcore should be. I am so sick of all the scenes being full of either emo metalcore bands, emo fags making deathcore bands, and "aww we are so sad but we have friends yay!" melodic punk and posicore bullcrap bands. We need more brutal intense bands. I feel like the scene is just dead and stupid.
@MaharlikaAWA My friend used to into the Metalcore/Deathcore garbage until I introduced him into some Thrash Metal bands like Warbringer, D.R.I, Toxic Holocaust, Muncipical Waste, Destruction, Sodom, Possessed, Venom, Celtic Frost, Early Man, etc... and within a month he pretends that emo deathcore metalcore in that nature do not exist. His room used to be filled with White Chapel, Suicide Silence, Job for a gayboy posters on his wall. Now he has alot of Venom, Toxic Holocaust, Slayer pictures.
@MaharlikaAWA Three days after that I saw them moshing to Anal Cunt and I didn't even know who Anal Cunt were until they accidentally hit me in the face when I tried to give her a hug Lol!
@tsunamilives cheers buddy, i was thnking of doing another one soon, ill check out them bands, i havent actualy heard them, im listening to Cripple Bastards now, ther fast!!:)!
@DyingBeetus its kind of a mix of grind core which i wud say came from deathmetal and punk mixed together and hardcore but powerviolence songs are too long to be grind core i wud say and are too hardcore to be grindcore too. but yea theres alot of sub genres that u cud say are the same thing but its just a way of distinguishing different music i guess
@DyingBeetus powerviolence bands focus on speed, brevity, bizarre timing breakdowns, and constant tempo changes, its a mixture of thrashcore and grindcore
@parkerman23 Thrashcore is a joke. It's just thrash. Pretty much anything with a "core" is fuckin pointless. That's just my opinion. But it makes a whole lot of sense when you see a bunch of whiny highschool emo kids calling thier 2 step HXC bands THRASHCORE/DEATHCORE/GRINDCORE when they no fuckin clue what either of those genres are.
@killerklown91 haha, i know what ya mean, but isnt thrashcore called that cos, its hardcore influenced thrash, like thrash metal is metal influenced thrash, pretty big diffrence i think!, i know what ya mean about the scene kids new hardcore shit, its lame!
@parkerman23 Yeah I know. I was just being dumb. Me saying that anything with a "core is a joke" would mean that hardcore punk is a joke when it is most certainly not.
@killerklown91 fuckin right! Everythins got core on the end these days. The only "core" is hardcore - enythin else is 2step, spinkick, toughguy wannabe, faggot shit.
