@Believerification Well... Perfect Symmetry was released in 2008. Their new album won't come out until next year. That's 4 years working on it... I think we can expect great things from that album.

I have to say that "hopes and fears" and "Under the iron sea" are brilliant but now Keane changed thats why "Perfect Symmetry" it's so different, but I think that is a great album, different but great.

this songs alright but the hopes and fears album is so amazing every song is great. perfect symmetery sucks. i don't like where their going with this new upbeat music. they need to go back to soul.

it doesn't matter what they do, because their true fans will always love them whatever type of music they produce.

and tbh, you should look at from the way that they've produced 3 albums all which are all completely different, and they've still all reached number 1 and we still love them.

@blake: sorry but that's just a view. I would certainly consider myself a "true fan" and guess what? I absolutely love perfect symmetry. If one needs to rank them anyway, for me under the iron see comes last (though there is some brilliant stuff on it) :-)

Couldn't agree more. I love Keane and just about every song they've put out, from all three albums, and all their different B sides. Perfect Symmetry was different, but excellent. They've earned my total trust that if they put out something, anything, I want to hear it!

Tom was asked the question a few months ago. He said he himself would like to know.Charlie Chaplin was indeed a great composer but Tom's musical gift is not due to some genetic factors as far as we know. He said it was due to practice and luck. You can find this information in the former site of Keane. there's some link to it in the present one, if you can find your way in this maze, time consuming but interesting.
