I dont doubt that the Mullahs of Iran are racially Iranian, but if they are representatives of Islam then they are representatives of Arab nationalist domination, which is part of what Islam is about. Muslims in Iran pray by facing Mecca, not Qom,even though the first muslims were told to face Jerusalem until Muhammed realised the Jews would never accept him as a prophet and conveniently changed the direction of prayer to his own tribe's shrine in Mecca).
