Nice idea, but the painter's style is too plethoric fot Brubeck's music - which reminds me (in terms of abstraction & simplicity) of japanese sketches.
See, you don't have to make a brush for EVERY single note!
Anyway, that's just my humble opinion - and I woundn't have done a better painting job - that's for sure!
what would have happened if brubeck's number would've lasted another minute; -lol; but now, the idea to paint music is great; imagine rhythm/brush-stroke, jazz/abstract, mood/colors, etc... and you could actually come up with "tribute to brubeck"; -try again!
Untill the black is added, I sometimes belive to see scenes of a fire, or a forest in autumn, a view from grass up to the bloom etc. But then I'm not able to see any, which is known to me. I would be interesting to ask the artist, what's expressed in the last minute.
it was almost decent at one point, and then the black made it grotesque. There was no form, not structure, no composition, the colors clashed... etc. for beautiful modern art see jonas gerard
I enjoyed it. I might have been because it came off an Inland Empire cinema viewing, followed by, what is, at this moment, still in progress, a continuing buzz:)
No, not counting the induced alchohol, this video, in smooth co-operation with the free-spirithy music of Brubeck, makes of a deliberatingly enjoyable whole:)
awesome

looks like you were having a few pints as you painted and the alcohol took over in the end.
Started off well then you blew it !!

'tis botched at the end. at least the Dave Brubeck piece ended nicely.

Do you really mean alcohol ? Even so I think it should be a not easy painting excerecise !

this shows good connection to sensation, just keep deconstructing your process so the layers meld more smoothly.
believe me though, i saw 'you' within the painting on every turn.

It is refreshing to see someone giving constructive positive criticism to artists.

I paint abstract and I'm the first to say it's a fine line between 'art' and a 3 year old painting sometimes. This is one of those cases.

This would fall under "performance art". It it a different artform than many young people have yet experienced.
