@Lisledl You can easily customise it; make them smaller, eliminate some; of if you hate UI, just get rid of it completely. You can disable buffs so you don't see other people's buffs on you, or on enemies/etc.

@japskidin well 2 months in and no one in the world has killed the last boss yet... so its harder than any wow raid that I can remember. So if you're looking for difficulty, this is it.

@Japskidin Raiding in Rift is actually very challenging. To this day, nobody has downed the last boss in HK so far. Some of the bosses (Zilas, Murdantix) are fairly easy. Mostly good warmups. But yeah, Akylios is nigh impossible.

Like always Ciderhelm makes these fights look easier than they can be but thats obviously due to great communication and teamwork as well as knowing your given roles in the fight. I wish it had commentary even though I understood most of what went on with the Imps plus the Beam.

Always love watching your videos. They are terribly informative...but what's up with no commentary on this one. Love the commentary. Its more difficult to follow the action without that. And as to the music that some people have commented on...honestly I like the soothing almost spa-like music. Its a cool counterpoint to the fighting that's going on. why do these fights look like tank and spanks? I don't see too much raid damage going out, and barely and tank damage. Either Ciderhelm is the most amazing player in Rift, or this fight is just rediculously, and retardedly, easy.

I don't play this game, but I know one thing for sure. It just came out so the damage isn't 20k DPS per player. Its more like 20k-30k for the whole raid... So its like starting off during the Burning Crusade for WoW.

@sharkattack056 That is because there is no raid damage when the fight is done to perfection. The main tank only has one job, to stay in melee with the boss.

The fun of this fight comes from learning it, the chaos that ensues is a lot of fun. It's not a dps race or even a gear check, it's a good old tactics/retard check. This video is what the fight is like when everyone does what they're supposed to.

this might sound old, but aside from the different lore & storyline, I don't see the point of this game, it looks like an ugly version of WoW, in my opinion anyway; the character models/animation especially. might get better with time, we'll see, granted WoW wasn't any good until BC

I hate rift. Well what i mean is i hate the idea of playing another game identical in style to wow. But i love raiding and i love ciderhels's video. He is Tankspot. I remember when others first started commentating the guides at tankSpot and would just read a script of the guide overlayed on the video footage. Ciderhelms commentary is always directly adressing issues u may face and was great at understanding his own learning curve of an encouter and a sensitivity to his viwers varying skills.
