The Owner Sold the Truck what was left of it, to some Mexicans down South, and I believe they fixed it up with cardboard and Duct Tape and now its running around the US somewhere - so if ya see it coming - Run !
did they ever figure out what caused it i know u said no b4 but i was wondering now and by the way stupid people should comment on sad stuff like this .
NO Don't Know, too late now anyway, Truck became salvage, its gone, and he's in his 80s now anyway, and Trucking has got very badd, not worth being out there anyway, mize well just park those Rigs till another day !
ew a cab over im not a fan of them but i am sorry for your loss . in 14 yrs of parken the truck at home weve never had 1 problem knock on wood . very scarey for sure
btw, If I recall right, a Schneider driver's dream rig is a COE thirteen letter (*&$ spreader. Orange of course. No yellow doors for the big orange pumpkin.
All I can say is .... D'OH!!! Sorry it was sort of a nice truck I guess ....but ever since I did my little stint with Schneider...driving a cabover is the last thing I would ever do again!!
"I do have a motorcycle or two and a quad and id have to hose a girl"!!! Ha Ha how about me pullin the driveshaft off my mack and shovin 540 horsepower up your ass and watch you bitch and moan cause u cant sit down anymore u fowl mouth fuck who doesnt have anything better to do!! Id like to see you hop in the cab of a truck for one day and do half the job truck drivers can! Maybe youll get lucky and one of them will back a 53 foot drop-deck right up your ass you inbread fuck!!!!
um, nope i do not have a truck...the way i see it there are already enough hillbilly sister bangers out there hauling shit around, so i passed on that "golden opportunity" hoss. i do have a motorcycle or two though, and a car. oh yeah and a dirt bike and a quad. maybe i will sell all my shit and get me a "big ol' rig with chrome wheels" and then you'd leave me alone. but if i did that i would have to hose a female member in your family as a trade.....so tell me, who will it be ???
Trucks are strange.Used to drive a Scania 143 V8 from Ireland all over Europe and would be in bed and she would start herself if it was raining.Turned out it was water dripping on the starter cables causing current to jump
Before I worked there, 2 trucks caught on fire. The way I understand it, an electrical short caused a melt down of the primary battery cables, I imagine the heat to melt down a copper cable plus the boiling of the battery due to the high amperage load, would cause a battery off-gas explosion.
Since then, all of our trucks have battery disconnects mounted in the floor to the left of the driver seat and a main priority of our post trip inspection is to turn them off for the night.
NO, Won't be one either, the Industry is too badd right now till the freight rates come up and fuel goes down ! Not worth the time and effort anymore !
Fuel prices went toooooo High again.Thank you Uncle Bush for the price of fuel. And by the way don't brun Macks may I offer to brun Sh-tliners instead.
well i reckin gotta reck the truck to make the truck payment lol hope ya all had fun looks like it wish i was their woulda been a good time ps stop burnin up peterbilts burn macks instead
O SHIT! I am sorry to hear about your loss! That was a nice ride! Did you have the blockheater plugged in? I had a small fire start on my pickup that involved the blockheater, road salt and antifreeze.. I just happen to be standing there to put it out.
In europe there night heaters,That run through the cooling system to keep the engine warm, These go up just like this. due to the heater probe failing & igniting the alcohol in the anti-freeze, Truckres have died in the sleep.
Boy how often do you hear about that kind of thing happening for crying out loud?! One moment it's a fine piece of career machinery sitting safely in the driveway, next it's a hunk, a hunk o' burning junk!
dude i feel for you man i really do.. me and my dad just boought a 1981 362.. i love it!! it is strictly for show and play.. but thats a shame man thats another one gone.. i knew a guy that had a old 359 show truck and the som bitch burnt to a crisp.. o well
