It was filmed in late 2006 and editing and final cut finished in late 2007. It was released in April of 2008. You're not in a time warp. Many Americans are just seeing it for the first time and the DVD is now available.

pretty sweet trailer, seems like it actually might be scary at parts (which from experience I know to be hard). I liked the premise cause you know every horror movie has to have sexy woman in them, and your movie explains why they're there in the first place (not just that the "normal friends" happen to be supermodles).

Wut happened to the Freddys,Jasons,Michaels and Chuckys?! This preview to this movie reminds me a little bit of A Texas Chainsaw Massacre with a mix of chessy comedy! And that is cool! Ooh yeah, I agree with the other comment by (lyrialzander) two days ago. I luv the combo of HORROR/COMEDY especially when the actresses/actors are good -- Not overacting. Seems like a great mix. The "independent" horror flicks are almost always better than the others. Count me in, I would luv to see the US premier.

This looks like it holds some promise. I appreciate you wanting an opinion on it. As you can already see, you are going to get A LOT of uninformed people posting complaints that "That's not Rey Misterio!" simply because they are ignorant of the existence of the original Rey Mysterio (Rey Jr.'s uncle) who is a damned great showman in his own right. Having said that, you have what looks to be a cool luchahorror film on your hands and I would definitely check it out. Thanks.
