@LucarioXD5000 We've only really played the Japanese version, since we already had nearly everything once the time the English version came out. I know that there were several changes and balance issues that were fixed. (See Tidus' massive nerfs in the US version). Given that, it's very possible that they changed Jecht Block to not actually hit people in the US version.

Thats weird how in the japenese version, jecht block is a block and an attack when u use it close enough to the enemy. But in the NA version it only blocks and doesnt deal damage or a hit

Yes, he is a good person even in this game. He may be fighting with Chaos but he's doing it because Chaos promised he would return Jecht and Tidus back home when he collected the crystal. At least that's what I think happened...right?

Jecht is pinholed into only having a few moves at earlier levels. He doesn't get much of anything until quite a high level.

Jecht is pretty much all physical. Playing Jecht is like playing SSBB. His attacks are chargable (like smash attacks) and require great timing (his block reminds me of the timing of a spot dodge).

It's pretty hard which one I'd cheer for...

FFX was my first FF ever and I found Jecht to be the manniest of all the mans in Spira, he was pretty badass, but I also pitied him a little, for not ever being able to return back to his home.

Sephiroth is my favourite villain, but I don't have such "connection" to him as I have to Jecht... sure, Sephy's more powerful and I liked his AC(+C) appearance.

Daaaamn, I suppose I have to wish for a draw every time they face.

Yeah. We're both great players when we play at our best, but that would be a match that would go on forever, haha. Some of the HP moves are pretty hard to dodge though (Jecht's crazy sword dance of doom).

thats kool, ive been racking my brain on how to link moves straight into ex super moves (yes i call them supers). But now im thinking that since the ex glowing things appear randomly, that in competition i should just do like you guys and fight head on. It is more fair isnt it?

In my humble opinion, I believe it is more fair. If one player happens to catch an EX Core (the glowing things =D), it's pretty much an instant win. It seems very unfair. As for summons, they just make the game go by too fast.

Gabranth in normal form is pretty bad. His only HP-Attack is charging his EX bar. He does rely on EX Mode to win, but while he is in it he's beastly.
