  • @lorie043 800-522-7648 is Carnival Bon Voyage. Just don't forget to order in advance and carry on your Coke/ Sprites to mix with :)

  • could you please give me the 800 number to call as I am going in carnival magic in a week and would love to have a bottle in my room as to haveing to buy every drink. thank you! Lori

  • @aaronshouse6977 Thanks! It's the oldest and most durable timepiece in my rotation.

  • Nice Omega ! I have one close to it.

  • What's the music you've got playing in the background?

  • @neplains Something that I mixed up in Garageband.

  • well I would be happy if I could just buy a bottle on the ship instead of glass by glass. At least Carnival offers that. And even my first cruise on a rinky dinky 34,000 tonner they sold it by the bottle before you even boarded the boat. Mabye RC has something good I just don't know about yet, but if not, it may be Carnival for sure next time.

  • thanks again, and I still find it hard to believe that they can pick the locks of thousands of pieces of luggage, JUST to check for booze!

  • @borg386 Yeah there is no way that they could and stay on schedule. I wish that the cruise lines would just offer at a minimum an affordable beer package. It's not like it'd make everyone on the cruise rambling drunks but it'd sure make the cruise a lot more relaxing. Knowing that you're gonna get hit with a tab for alcohol at the end of the vacation isn't fun. I'm the type that likes to pay for things in advance and then completely relax.

  • @borg386 Better yet, even if it's not unlimited offer something to where people can pre-pay for up to 12 beers or so per day. If all 12 are not consumed, the remainder rolls over to the next day. Kinda like a cell phone plan LOL.

  • @borg386 Liquor is good but running back and forth to the room with those little plastic cups full of ice is kinda crazy. Not to mention, liquor and pool is not as fun as beer and pool...LOL. Maybe there will be more freebies when the economy rebounds. Good luck and have fun on your cruise!

  • So do you know if the other cruise lines have this service like rc? because when I called them, they said that you can't bring any soda or water on board( and of course no booze). I never even thought to ask them if you could buy a bottle from them.

  • @borg386 I'm not sure about Royal Caribbean. I've only been on Carnival so far. I actually found out about the soda/water trick from the forums. Water is pointless weight though because they have free water and juice on the ship. Also, Carnival will let you carry on one bottle of wine or one bottle of champagne per passenger. Did you know that? =)

  • @borg386 Any reason why rc? You might get the best deal on Carnival. We flew to Baltimore and boarded the Carnival Pride to Bermuda. Was awesome cause that was our only port and we stayed there for a few days. Check out my videos if ya wanna. Also have a Carnival Elation video.

  • @IrixGuy

thanks so much for answering my question. the reason I ask about rc is because i'll be going with them next month. the water question is because i,m trying to figure out how to bring my own liquer on board( vodka). Some good ideas on youtube, but others say they check everything that has liquid in it. we do plan on going in Nov,on the carnival pride or valor. i will check out your other videos, and thanks again for any ideas or suggestions.

  • @borg386 Let me tell ya a trick that works well. Buy a large bottle of store brand mouthwash. Rinse it out multiple times with hot water and let it air our for a while. Drink some fresh water from it and see if it tastes funky. If so, repeat. Once water tastes fine from it add the clear liquor of your choice and some food coloring =) Bingo! Just don't have everyone pack large bottles of mouthwash cause that might attract attention LOL.

  • @borg386 Also while in port something that sometimes works is buying a large bottle to "check at the door" when you board as a diversion. Have multiple miniatures staggered throughout your pants, souvenir bags, etc. and try to board when it's busy. You might get lucky else they'll likely just check it and return it to your room before you get off of the ship at your home port. Good luck!
