It is mind-numbing how the planners in the Los Angeles area chose greed and development over common sense and facilitated the near-complete urbanization of the region. The virtual wiping out of local farming, including orchards, truck gardens, and dairies have left us vulnerable when it comes to disruptions in food supply and freshness. It still goes on as densification continues. I thought these 'public servants' were supposed to look out for us.

I absolutely loved this montage. I grew up in the valley and have watched it changed through the years. So many memories. What an excellent tribute to those of us who are true SFV natives! Thank you.
