valve dont do films, they do good games, and well anyway EA are in it for money and besides, movie games have to be expected for a certain date, whereas custom made franchises such as Halo/GTA/Skate/COD/GOW etc almost all games :) can be expected whenever. e.g Alan Wake has taken almost 6 years to develop, with the german developer delaying to make best possible changes
