Our toilets here have no problem at all with the blue cistern blocks, even the ones with rim jets, they just work like normal. That flush was pretty slow though. Would it actually manage to flush anything?
I used to have these where I worked. They flushed well but always required a second flush to clear everything out of the bowl. They did flush stronger and longer than this one here.
That's a Cadet. It was the latest model Cadet before they went low flow. I believe it was introduced in the late 80s. It's still made today, but for obvious reasons can't be sold in the US. They're all over Canada.
@CZEKxBUTCHER Yes, in the USA 3.5 gpf toilets, such as this, can no longer be sold because it is against the law. Every toilet sold must consume 1.6 gal or less.
Does the Ball cock or Fill valve turn off or does it just go on and on?

That Cadet needs the siphon jet cleared out.

This is from 1992 till 1994 and also this tank was also used on Pressure-assisted Cadet (1992-2007) which takes 1.6 GPF

If a 3.5 gallon toilet toilet is cloged take the lid of the tank push the flapper down and the toilet stops flushing.
