These videos are going to have to get a lot more exciting to compete with Droid-mania (and I say that as an N900 fan). Seriously, the Droid videos have anti-Apple smack, and this video had how many seconds of someone's shoe horn (and a typo)? They need the people who did the original N900/Maemo promo videos on the Nokia website to be doing these videos. Those are awesome.

These videos aren't adds.

It's a new phone platform and Nokia wants to educate people about it.

It might be ok in North America to smack Iphone as it has taken all the mindspace around, but in Nokias main regions Europe and Asia it wouldn't work.

Nokia is the main smartphone and phone manufacturer by a long shot so it would be more like advertising Apple than the other way around :)

Before Nokia releases this they should put a AMOLED Display in it and also make it compatiable with the 850MHz 3G cause Telstra has this service with 99% of the Aus Pop but Optus hasn't got that service with their 900MHz 3G =( anyone agree? =)

It probably does. My Nokia 5800 does. Ovi Maps are very good for both car and walk navigation.

It CERTAINLY doesn't.

All better S60 phone by Nokia do, but Maemo doesn't seem to be ready for it :-(

Oh, that's very strange though. I'm very happy with my 5800, works just like I want it to, except for if you walk places it doesn't know there are roads or paths in forrests etc.. It locks you to the last road you were on until you get to another road :P Unless you restart it while you're off a road, then it does what it should do.
