I remember MUD being supported by a band called Bilbo Baggins when I saw them on tour in 1975. I presume it is the same band, although I seem to remember someone playing the violin!

great to hear them again, they played at my wedding in 1977, in the stepps hotel in glasgow stuart craig was there roadie at that time, colin even took my wedding pictures a great day was had by all, how good would it be for them to do my anniversay frances & jake campbell.

I saw Bilbo Baggins at Foggie (Aberchirder, Banffshire) in the mid 70's, they were really good and had the place rocking (no mean feat)Always thought their version of 'Hold Me' was the best of all versions and much copied by other bands in the dance halls at the time.Would be great if someone could put 'Hold Me' on You Tube.

Much better than the Rollers......Brian Spence...you have matured well...I remember being in an audience at STV studio in Edinburgh when they sang 'Please Sir'...never to be forgotten. I was only about 15yrs old then.
