Hey Shug: Great informational and funny videos! I am aquiring gear to live on my own in a tent or hammock in warmer weather or places wear a tent will take to long to set up. I am wondering wear you got that "packa" I would love one! I am 6'1" 270lbs. I ordered a military camp poncho to keep me dry and have a pack cover. I am currently watching your entire video series again as i only subbed you about 6 months ago.

You have rekindled my interest in bushcraft. I have a hammock but never got on well with it because i need to sleep on my side or flat. i may have to relook at what the market has to offer. The evolution of my persuits has led me to the golite Shangri-La though.

Yeah .... not cheap but it serves as a pack cover and rainwear. The best part is that you wear it as just a pack cover and deploy the rain jacket part without removing your pack. And no water running between your pack and pack cover.

Around $115 US ... not cheap but replaces my rain jacket and pack cover and has more wearing options for me. Some say it is too expensive but really all gear runs the gamut. Get what ya' pay for I reckon.
