i remember once i ate a firecracker (weed mixed with peanut butter) and i got so paranoid i couldnt think straight. when i turned this on i wasn't paranoid anymore. it cleared my mind and i felt calm afterwords. i dont think ive ever heard an album as calm and cozy as quiet city. by the way doesnt that sound like a washing machine?

Oh sure, the track is a little sleep-inducing, but it makes for excellent background music. It has that chilly and mundane sort of atmosphere to it. Isn't Pan American on Kranky?
