What if your a left handed person that plays righty like Michael Angelo and ME no just playing I can see everything mirrored too just like Libby could it's not that hard you need the dexterity that's the hard part I should get a lefty and play it righty or just do what she did and play lefty I'd probably be better lefty than I'am righty anyway someone buy me some guitars to try this out lol
not in the same key! Elisabeth plays in B flat ! look at her fingers, this guy is a con! yo shit head ! play it like Elisabeth, or dont play it at all!
you're right. i should have done my research before correcting you. i was brought up under the impression that his guitars werent restrung. i was in a band around the age of 15 with a guy who played righty strung guitars left handed... i guess somewhere in a conversation with him he said that about jimi and i never corrected that piece of info. thanks for setting me straight
i also thought it was righty strings too...but when youtube was invented and on closer inspection i realised they were lefty strings.
erm...the bassist of the doves plays a righty bass upside down...not sure why - im suprised no one has ever brought it up - thats probably the only interesting thing about doves to be honest. i hate them english mor bands - i blame oasis
@soadinc09 - No, Jimi restrung a right-handed guitar so it was like a left-handed guitar. (Watch 'Hear My Train Comin'' video for reference), Whereas, Elizabeth Cotten took a right-handed guitar, did NOT restring it & played it lefty, upside down.
@mynameismark25 not true Hendrix could do that the notes are in the same place no matter how you play not to take anything from Libby she's great would of loved to hear her voice when she wrote her song i think she was 12 now that Jimmi didn't do another guitar pro was Sister Rosetta she was a prodigy and might have even been one of the first women of rock and roll or memphis minnie or etta baker shit there's alot of players just imagine the ones that didn't get recorded long ago

Sounds like Freight Train to me again. I still like Freight Train better, but this is close since it sounds alike.

She's left handed...
I guess she didn't wanted to bother to buy a "lefty's" guitar...

I don't think she was a rich woman. A little respect, senior elmaterialismo.

Didn't mean any disrespect my friend.
That was my point of my comment.
That back then even if they didn't afford for any fancy guitars they will still play and make beautiful music!

hendrix did play upside down.

yeh, but his strings were still regular - it was the guitar that was upside down
