ladies u complain there's no good men that got nuttin going 4 themselves here's at least one right here in mr.rolle.there are more like him u just gotta know where to look and make better dating decisions.the nfl needs guys like myron rolle badly to improve the league's public image.were sick of nfl felons like pacman jones, donte stallworth, michael vick ,santonio holmes and most recently ben rothlisberger enough is enough roger goddell clean up ur sport now.
Extremely impressive.. I know Tim Tebow is a good football player and good person off the field, but as a fellow young black man, this story is so much sweeter!
See this is the thing that bothers me. Why do the media put so much effort in talkin about Vick going to jail and Plaxico Burress shooting himself in a club instead of talkin about Myron Rolle giving up millions of dollars to pursue an education in football? They like to perpetuate the stereotypes of BLACK ATHLETES being inresponsible and not realizing that not every talented black athlete fit in that category.
@dsetgetatme this is American. Racism and discriminatory practices are cornerstone's of our nation's establishment unfortunately overtly and subertly. The nation has progressed in many ways but still has along way to go for all people Black, White, Latino, Asian and all others. I long to see Dr. Kings dream come to pass even if it may not. It is a worthy ideal to strive for.
Rolle reminds me of another NFL player I respect, former RB Robert Smith, given his success on the field and academically. Scary thing is, Rolle appears to be even more talented in both areas.
Myron makes me proud to be a man, let alone black or white, educated or not. He transcends it all. Some of us are born lucky and some of us work thousands of hours at it; this guy was born lucky with athletic ability and a large brain and he still worked thousands of hours at it. It's just plain scary how bright this guy's future is. I can see him performing neurosurgery and then going out after work and playing in a play-off game. Hard to stand out in that family...
they need to make a movie about this guy

How can we train more black males to have the character this young man has? Why aren't there more black males like this man on my college campus?

@clickofdeath I DEFINITELY AGREE WITH THAT STATEMENT

hopefully he'll be able to teach a thing or two to rest of the players if he's not starting.

This is a great football player and an even greater person. I hope he lands in Seattle, we can use a talented player and leader like Myron.
Best of luck wherever you end up Myron, you have a bright future ahead of you when your football days are over.
