mitsuko sucked in the movie, i know she couldnt have got away with what she got up to in the manga and i think theres very few actresses who would play her but the way she took down taka in the film was all wrong, that was the most powerful scene in the manga in my opinion, it was manic and hit home how ruthless mitsu was, in the film its blended with the teacher knowing noriko subpot which i think sucks, but hey its a million times better than dragonball evolution

@NejiLover567 if your refering to his charecter in the book. yes. but they portrayed him differantly in the movie. I actually like the way he was portrayed in the movie better than the book (the only thing i prefer in the movie). his charecter in the book felt too much like an anime sterotype. you know the charecter that cares about nothing but is super good at anything and everything he does. I have an easier time believing in just a pure pshyco.

Its just a shame that kiriyama and mitsuko's battle wasnt anything like this in the book. Mitsuko is snuck up on by kiriyama, she gets filled full of bullets, she keeps shooting, kiriyama unloads more bullets into her, she dies before even hitting the ground.

The manga is excellent, but it is very gory, I'm talking about getting shot the in face and seeing teeth and eye balls fly out.

I much prefer the movie version of Kiriyama to the book. In the novel, he wasn't really intimidating at all but in the movie, they wiped his past, made him mute, made him an outsider, and said that he signed up for the program for fun. Now that's a true enigmatic scary badass!

Granted KK's not the world's best shot, but there are two things to consider here: 1: uzi's aren't the easiest weapons to get to grips with, and we're to assume he's never handled one before ....2: poetic license.
