if im marvel, im embarrassed about this, i dont even know who makes marvel selects, but christ, when this is supposed to be the premier version of the character, atleast paint him for the long haul and give him a base thats 1/4 as good as a toybiz base...
nice review, tho for 20 bucks that paint chipping off makes it seem like its worth alot less, not a figure i wuld get, but eh, he doesnt look all that bad, but the car is a mess, great review
@jmacko516 For a MS I was just expecting more. The articulation is decent considering, but the paint chips bother me. Especially since I do not actually play, but simply pose. After the review I put my Legends Venom on top of the car and it does make it look better. I just think that for the price it wasnt worth it. The car should have come with another character and have a little more to it. Thanks!
@arlocon true, but yeah to me the crushed car doesnt seem to make sense to coome with spidey, he dpnt crush cars, it shuld come with red hulk, or maybe regular hulk just have it be a different color
love the new format, work well...um...no offense to M.S. but this think has less pose ability than a Mego Spidey from the 1970's...and I'd be staring at the lopsided head to much to enjoy this figure...wouldnt even get this at $10. But great review, looking forward ( as always) to the next one ( and your daughter is a smarty, love her suggestion, she was spot on )

As a Marvel Select collector I already know these things suck for play value. I just keep them in their cool looking cases stacked neatly side by side. If I really want a figure I just buy extras..its funny cause the two I actually had out for show are now broke. Just consider these things articulated statues.

Great review but I gotta say the cruhshed car is the best thing about this figure to me. Thats the only reason I bought it. The car goes great in displays, the figure sucks. I gave mine to Shartismus, lol.

I actually thought the base looked really cool. I could always use an extra base for the displays, but on the other hand, I haven't held one out of package yet to really make a good judgment call on it. LOL!!! at the Spidey/ Hulk hug, even though it did kinda hurt my eyes.

Not bad, The Select version of Spider Man looks rather well sculpted in his detail and its definitely up there with several other great figures in the Marvel Select line. Awesome as always Andy.

@Virussduderule666 The only true Legends one I have is the 1st Appearance and I dig that one, but have no other to go by. Buyers remorse for sure. I have had him long enough now that I don't care, but at the time I was kinda pissed.
