If you're a parent who picks prayer over medical attention you should have your child taken away. You have NO BUSINESS being a parent at that point. If you have a bad cavity you don't pray to Jesus, Buddha or Allah to make it go away you go to the dentist. Now if you have a child with cancer who has been through brutal treatments and it isn't working.....OK pray but the initial plan of attack can never be hope the problem just disappears.
If parents were praying for food to appear by itself in their baby's mouth instead of feeding her, would you be wondering whether one should intervene?
If there was a similar situation with a child in Saudi Arabia and it was Muslim parents taking the same stance with their sick daughter, the Oregon Wyland family would probably be laughing at how superstitious Muslims are, praying to a god that doesn't exist.
When the child grows up (if she makes it), she will realize what ignorant fucks her parent are and how crazy religion makes people.

@mrcheetahmorris then the child will die.

@mrcheetahmorris There is no right to harm or injure a child. It is immoral and simply wrong.
No belief system that causes harm to the innocent has a right to exist.

Throw the Wyland's in prison for about 10 years and let them 'pray' they don't get their asses kicked by the other inmates.
