@ninjanickb Bull. Try pitching a business plan/idea without passion. Try promoting a boxing match without passion. Try addressing the public as a politician without passion. In order to convince anyone of ANYTHING in life, YOU NEED PASSION, something you are clearly devoid of. Here endeth the lesson.
@ezekielthemack Slight correction: In order to convince a woman, the elderly, or a college freshman of anything you need passion. A grown man w knowledge of subject isn't going to be won over by simply being passionate.
Note: The cheap shots aren't necessary, so just trade ideas like an adult.
@ninjanickb Er NO CORRECTION. You've already been duly rebutted (see below) as ALL of the youtube community can see. Now stop embarrassing yourself and get off youtube. There's nothing worse than someone trying to sound intelligent when they are anything but that i.e. YOU. Now get lost!
@kevcas73 "when you cannot attack the facts, attack the person presenting the facts.........nice work Socrates!!!" - oh another "ad hominem" reference. I'm guessing you're young, white, Republican and DUMB. Am I right or am I right? ;-)
@heartm8 Thats pretty clever. Got any more? Listen, first learn how to spell Mississippi, then maybe I'll believe you own property there. This discussion is over your head bro. You might try listening to Sara Palin, she only has a 100 word vocabulary so you should be fine...BIATCHHHH!
I've been thinking the exact same things but about the UK. It's representative democracy in general. We don't have a say. The concept of referendum is something most people don't even understand. We are disenfranchised from our own governments or own nations our own species. We can't believe the nastiness of everyone yet we respond in the same way. Cities are the worst for this, on the roads. And it is the big money that is funding this inequality. Lobbying governments for inequality.
the only way this world will change is to understand the 5 powers and 4 laws of the universe 9 things to obay to form a world of peace mostly we must understand the main power of the universe and that is the zodiac and are traits in the zodiac.
I find it odd that your name is Holydigger, for it describes your basis of insecurity. You may need to dig and scrape together to feel comfort in your faith. Or maybe its your hatred of intellectuality that makes up your fine moral fiber. God help someone who finds comfort in knowledge instead of bowing down to a abstract human construct, in which even a great number of followers as yourself can not swallow.
You might try to say something based on reason and argument. I may not agree with all that West says here but he is thoughtful and intelligent and has important things to say.
we have to commend Dr. West for talking not only to blacks and browns or reds but to the people who dont want to hear it. mabye we should make it a point to talk to someone else other than your own peers to come up with a solution that everyone has a part in or a voice in.
Right there with you danibwoi. The struggle is TOO silent, but we're not alone, the people at both extremes are the loudest but WE are the majority. SPEAK UP! Be bold and others will be encouraged to support us, because they too think they are struggling alone. Let's show them that they are not.
Business privatization and deregulation are good. It's about how you implement them. Check out Estonia's privatization example and Pennsylvania's energy deregulation approach.
it is funny how the idealistic views of West is now the current arguments of Obama. The Now is at hand and Obama's approach to non-lobbyist (federal) is right on the money. We need control . Obama 08
It is hard for them to show any emotion as they experience intenal musings of how they are complict in the proliferation of the social ills that Dr. West is speaking of.
Passion ? Why is that necessary ? You obviously have an acute attention span.
