I couldn't say. I have noticed, though, that Wayne occasionally tends (or tended) to look brooding and annoyed when performing. Check out his body language during Weather Report's Montreux '76 performance, during Badia, I believe it is. I swear he looks like he's ready to kill a few people on stage, Jaco especially. But the performance is one of their best! Personally I think it's just the Wayne acts when he's in "the zone".
