again hardly any defense played..Jordan is good don't get me wrong it takes skill to hit open shots but hes burning players with simple quick moves. People act like this era was all defense this and that but most teams didnt even play good defense or do the "shane battier-esq/ron artest-esq hand in the face" defense only team I've ever seen play good defense vs jordan was the Pistons.
@Power2People59 Simply, MJ made these guys look pathetic because it was so easy. Jordan got most of the "Bruce Bowen's" of yesteryear on him...the defensive specialists and guys like Augmon, Ehlo, Dumars and in later years Gary Payton, Bryon Russell, Kevin Johnson, John Starks, Steve Smith. The simple fact is the reason no one could guard MJ is because he was having infamous scrimmages against the greatest defender in practice every day, Pippen. What do you expect from lesser defenders?
@Power2People59 This was the era of hand checking, where great defensive guys like jordan and starks could freely hand check eachother on the perimeter.Nowerdays players such as Rondo,Westbrook and Rose are able to exploit slower guards that can not hand check (your kidds and chaunceys).if jordan played in the nba today he himself has said he would foul out in games because of this rule.
@Power2People59 You do also realise that its practically just showing all of jordans scoring? its not showing alot of his defense, its not showing many of his missed shots and its not showing scottie pippen play his defense. You cant judge a defenseive era on a offensive hightlight film.
@funkyshizzle I'm not saying Jordan is playing lazy defense.. I'm saying the team is playing lazy defense against him.. I mean watch his simple post up turn around jumpers.. No one is trying to contest it at all..
@Power2People59 i see cuts, screens, picks, and Jordan using great offense to create distance...why jump at his fade away when u are no where close to him after he does that bump, step back, turn, and jump...Jordan is master of creating space...he teaches how to at his camps and even on youtube...he explains it sooo simply...its natural to him cus he practiced sooo much...but why are u making the comment...are u saying Jordan went against no D in his time?
@triklops Yeah, Jordan's done that about 6-7 times that I know of in his NBA career (probably more I don't know of), yet you'll never see any other player do it even ONCE. Some people act like it's easy (and in a way it is), but there's a reason why even the very best NBA players don't try to do that in a game situation, even when the game is well in hand.

Sick and fluid footwork at 3:51. I like how you showed some of his passing, too. He made the game look effortless.
