  • Is the 16-string one? U play so beautifully!

  • Is guzheng better played outdoor? As if you are playing music with all the sounds of nature... and city noise too.

  • just beautiful. i really want to buy one and learn. i wonder if its difficult to play.

  • @bachynskymusic As is the case with every instrument, I'm sure mastery takes awhile. However, the basics of learning to play are quite easy. I took lessons for a year and loved it. I'd say it's about as easy as a guitar, and definitely easier than a violin.

  • That's awesome, free advertisement for the teahouse. LOL

  • so tranquil...

  • My Do you think I should convince him to learn guitar or guzheng?

  • Wonderful :)

That s Guzheng Chinese but Vietnamese zither is wonderful instrument too :).

  • oops someone already answered, ee my bad =/

  • @SoaringDragonKungFu Wasn't that one the guqin? It has less strings than the guzheng I believe, and its older too, I am pretty sure but am not certain

  • GuQin

  • Its 渔舟唱晚

  • i felt like swords were going to fly out for a minute there. All you kung fu hustle fans know what im talking about

  • Wrong instrument but yes it does remind me of that.

  • He seems to be really pleased by his own performance.

  • Beautiful.

  • Wonderful!

I'd really love to learn a tradition Chinese instrument someday, the hardest part is choosing though... They're all so fantastic!

  • ah man, the sitar and the guzheng are such fascinating instruments. Chinese traditional sounding music is so enthralling and enchanting to me too. This is just awesome to watch, I mean yeah I seen plenty of people playing instruments in streets and all but when you are there you know its like you always have that memory of the performance, but this you can relive it again and again. I guess I wouldn't be making such a big deal about it if it wasn't the guzheng, reminds me of the duel in Hero.

  • I'm just speaking out of my own opinion but from the video its just a really simple song and theres nothing special to it~but I'm quite impressed at his courage to do this in public

  • lol all couples standing around and then twio guys walk by alone.... jkjk he is gud, yay my zheng arrives in a week!!!!! woot. i wud definately sit there all night lol listening

  • Wow, I would have stopped to listen to Master Song's guzheng music had I been where he was here. It's a privilege to watch this video. Thanks for sharing it. =)

  • haha he cant play wrong with this tone setting. The fa en ti is missing in this instrument and its pentatonic china music:). How clever:D

  • This is the kind of music I have been wanting to learn since childhood. I wish I had a chance to learn from Master Song!

  • excellent

  • What is the name of this piece it sounds familiar.

  • the difference between a profesional and a master is that a professional is good enough to get paid for their work. A master has the ability to consistantly bring joy when ever they play.

  • HOly shit, thats a cool instruments. Now there are two cool instruments I should buy: sitar and a zither.

  • It was the guqin or simply, qin. Played by Xu Guohua in the movie scene.

  • what a beautiful smile from a wonderful player wish i had been in the crowd listening

what a lucky time for all.

    buzz

  • very mature

  • I do not like it when people judge the player's skill. IT does not matter how well one can plays, all it does matter is that he has a music in his heart and a willingness to pass the this traditional music from generation to generation.

  • totally. this song reminds me of hero with jet li. nice one , Masta Guzheng

  • master, it's so beautifully played....

  • So is Traumerei, but Horowitz who is an obvious piano master can still play it at a new level captivating the hearts of the entire audience.

Difficulty doesn't matter to a professional.

  • obviously neither does tuning and tempo >.>

  • HAHA.

  • Magnificent.

  • He looks so relaxed with it :D Sounds nice :D
