Every time I look at Mirai I think of that cartoon character Mulan...she's cute. She needs to work on her "umms"....I know she's still young ....it's kind of annoying.
Mirai and Caroline have a lot of work to do. Mirai's further along b/c she made a great move in switching coaches to Frank Carroll. Caroline truly needs a new coach who won't allow her to skate the way she's been skating. She needs a coach who start her at the basics and teach her the right way to jump. As for Mirai, she needs a choreographer who can cater more to her style. Mirai has long arms and legs and is a bit awkward. There are choreographers out there who can work that to her advantage.
the judging at SC was so biased this year. they were obviously boosting the canadian skaters and holding down everyone else because, truth be told, mirai should have been in 2nd if not 1st place here. skating will never be judged fairly but this was just blatant cheating...
she's so grown up. i was really upset she didn't win a medal, i thought she really deserved to, she landed 5 clean triples and Laura only landed 3, and one of them was wonky looking. the scoring has become so unpredicatble
Beeeee! Mirai Supposed to be at the podium! But Skate America and Skate Canada were horrible competitions! Such a bizard! There were no normal judgement at all!

how crazy is it that korea somehow thinks that her saying 'blow them away' is offensive or out of line
she is a sweet figure skater and i'm sure her time is not far off! good luck in the LP in Worlds!
