  • Worst prime minister ever.

  • The slack jawed cyclops was just a piece of shit that supported mass uncontrolled immigration in order to increase Labours voting pool.

  • @Bellalodicci9 No offense, but when Labour came into office, the department that deals with immigration was so badly under funded, staffed and run, there was a serious back log, which meant Labour felt they had no choice but to grant them the right to same here, which was why incoming immigrants spikes around '99 - '02 before return to normal levels. I don't agree with what they did, but lets try and get the fact straight, before spouting bollocks.

  • a utter lying puppet this man was, is. Lots of noble but empty sentiments in this speech of his, doesnt change that. He continued the trend of previous, corrupted and morally bankrupt.

  • I bet the people who voted for Cameron are seriously regretting it now. Brown's biggest error I feel was his PR, he wasn't a "performer" like Blair, as Cameron and Clegg are, and he struggled because of it. When the shackles are off, he gives a damm good speech, because he speaks from the heart, whereas Cameron is nothing but a sales person. Yes he wasn't the greatest, he did have the finiancial crash and expenses scandal to deal with. But if Cameron was in charge then, the though is scary.

  • Comment removed

  • At least he told Murdoch to FUCK OFF and warned Clegg of their behaviour

  • If you have any doubt how much of a "fucking disaster" the "One-eyed Scottish Idiot" was then google "Tullett Prebon Thinking the Unthinkable". It is 34 page report that describes a litany of failure that characterized his time as Chancellor and PM. Brown just about fucked up everything he got his hands on .This shameless, reckless, mentally unstable, desperate moron has done severe damage to this country that will not be undone for decades if ever.

  • @Bellalodicci9 typical tory

  • @ThunderStrikz I voted UKIP. Anyone that didn't vote Labour was glad to see the back of this commie weirdo, who spent our money like a drunken sailor and borrowed like there was no tomorrow,

  • @Bellalodicci9 Lol you're a fucking joke. You clearly know nothing of Gordon brown and you're just another dipshit bending over for the Tories. You probably believe everything that comes out of Cameron and Cleg's mouths, look at you. Please use your fucking brain you retard and shut the fuck up next time.

  • @paramedion What did Gordon Brown achieve ?.

  • @Bellalodicci9 Your mothers virginity

  • @paramedion Idiot

  • @Bellalodicci9 STFU you useless turd, you are completely braindead

  • Probably his best speech

  • Even the scripted heckler strawman would have been your engineering & aping of an instance of a leader you admired handling a similar real situation. But you gave it away: it was so down pat & rushed, a bungled opportunity to make you look like you had natural wit & leadership up your sleeve. Fooling no one.

So deluded you were that politics was 'just theatre' , you even had to create your own reality to make you look to come off best, in a world that demands self-

  • possession in a leader. If you had neither self possession nor acting ability, why bother? Luckily the voters plumped for reality.

YOu must have been insane to have thought you could have swung it with a bit of hacked copy and melodrama written on the back of a fag packet.

  • fed to him over the phone.

"woven into the fabric of society?" = Maya Angelou

"Once you are, have learnt something, no one can unteach it" = botched Ghandhi

"exploitated doorstep lending" = Pure gordon brown

  • 2.06..'The leaders who spook on the stage...' Dont flatter yourself brown with your lentil eating brazillian child slave an a terrified peasant mother too dopey and trapped & scared to know what to do.They aint british citizens- but rather 69 non-persons.

    we see you.

we also see you got stung with the majority of that script -written by nick davies-

  • I'd rather him as prime-minister than Cameron. His PR thing was a disaster, but that was because it was overly american. It could have been a lot to do with this whole Rupert Murdoch thing we're learning about now. We don't need our leaders to be smiley-nice-idiots. We just need them to be competent, intelligent and passionate. He's far more of all of those things than Cameron. Cameron is vacuous and insincere.

  • @twylks Agree. I miss the fella :(

  • Someone told me this is an example of great oratory. It is anything but - it is shouty nothing more. There is no light and dark. Its a good speech but it is very poorly delivered.

  • TRAITOR

  • Brown is retarded

  • Gordon Brown is the most economically incompetent politician in history.

  • What an amazing speech. I'm impressed!

  • I remember seeing this on TV. I didnt vote Labour but this speech really boosted my confidence in Gordon Brown. I think it swayed my mum to vote Labour as well. Inspiring.

  • THAT WAS HILARIOUS AT 7:44, TOTALLY WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT,LOL

  • I love Gordon Brown

  • I miss his integrity and his honesty. Our current "leader" isn't a patch on old Gord...

  • i just love this guy so much i cant believe all those tory cunts voted him out.

  • @laurenalexg 80% of the country wanted this useless prick out. Anyone that didn't vote Labour think he a fucking twat. Even some Labour party members I know think he is shit and should have been replaced months before the election. i voted UKIP and as much as I despise the Coalition they are still preferable to this prat.

  • I never really supported Brown or Labour when they were in charge; but I find myself feeling rather nostalgic now...

  • @JamesBCS DONT !. No matter how bad the Coalition are and believe me they are ****ing awful I would never want to see this vile piece of shit in charge. Labour under this weird snot gobbling cyclops let a "borrow and debt" culture flourish. That is why we are in deep shit now + he did nothing about unfettered immigration. His legacy is just one DISASTER of epic proportions. It was almost as if he was hired to wreck the country. He was like King Midas but everything he touched turned to shit.

  • @Bellalodicci9 My comment wasn't entirely serious, I'm not a labour guy at all. But at least gordon brown and his cabinet tended to come from left-wing backgrounds and could begin to understand the plight of poor people, whereas the coalition don't. He introduced the minimum wage, which I support although it should be higher. Could you imagine the coalition doing that? I can't. I criticise labour because they're not leftist enough, liberal enough or passionate. I'm Green through and through.

  • shut up brown!! You got us in this mess that we're in now!!

  • SOCIALIST SCUM OUT!!!!

  • USSR!!!! Fucking Brown.

  • PM of emigrants and minority!!!

  • WHAT A FANTASTIC PRIME MINISTER! To me Winston, Maggy, and Gordon are three of the best PM's we have ever had! Strong people! not like Cameron and the proposed Mr Milliband! I love how everyone cheers for Gordon! :L Fantastic powerful speech!

  • @dudleyowl

hooray! 3 cheers for the man who allowed banks to send the country into recession! 3 cheers to the man nwho allowed other MPs to buy swimming pools and call it a business expense, hooray -_-

  • @gammaray4evrr oh yes, and David Cameron and the cabinet of millionaires are much better and much more trustable aren't they.

  • @JamesBCS yup. not that im a supporter

  • @gammaray4evrr ahhh, I can't understand where people like you get their logic from...

  • @JamesBCS

its called common sense, maybe some day people like you will realise......

  • @gammaray4evrr Common sense? Well, putting aside whether or not they're more trustable, explain how it's 'common sense'.

  • @JamesBCS

explainhow it ISNT common sense...... use youre noggin!

  • @gammaray4evrr ok, seeing as you don't want to back up your points... It's not common sense because it isn't SENSIBLE to trust one group of people over another group of people when you don't know any of them, can't be sure that whatever they say isn't being twisted by a spin doctor or a biased newspaper and know that at the end of the day; they are in exactly the same jobs with the same resources and in the same sort of situation as the previous group of people. Now explain how I'm wrong.

  • @JamesBCS

its not common sense because it isnt sensible? thats just like me saying it is common sense because it is sensible.... i cant be bothered with this...

  • @gammaray4evrr Don't give me semantics, you obviously can't be arsed backing up your point. Saying something like that is 'common sense' is illogical. If you can't back up a point then don't try and make it and don't start arguments on comment feeds.

  • @JamesBCS

dont give you semantics? why not? and just because you say its illogical doesnt mean that it is. Oh and YOU commented on MY post. Get your facts straight

  • @gammaray4evrr why not? Because semantics are irrevelant when both sides know what the other means. It's just a way of being annoyingly pedantic to try and make a cheap point. I know fine well that I commented on your post, but remember that your post (where you went on a rant about Gordon Brown and accused him of incorrectly using powers he didn't even have) was in reply to someone else's. I thought I should point out that DC isn't any more trustable than most others in the house of commons.

  • @JamesBCS

well if you know that you commented on my post then dont accuse ME of starting arguments. neither of us personally know david cameron or gordon brown therefore neither of us know how trustworthy they really are. i disagree with you, you disagree with me, now get over it

  • @gammaray4evrr exactly, so don't pretend that you do or that it's common sense.

  • @JamesBCS

youre the one who said hes more trustworthy!! AAAHH go away and stop contradicting yourself, i have a life and so wont be replying to you anymore

  • Labour have admitted to deliberately allowing our country to be invaded with limitless numbers of Africans and Asians and now we have gangs of Asian men who target our little underage white girls to be used as sex slaves, in our own country. How many of our little white girls lives wouldn't have been ruined if our country had not been invaded with limitless numbers of Asians, Africans, etc in the first place? No white person in their right mind should vote for these evil traitors.

  • He have middleage approach

  • This man is socialist man, fucking speak

  • @Michael189redwhite

    fucking good speech!

  • Pathetic shit speach by a One-eyed wankstain. Thankfully this immigrant loving, nose-picking fool has gone.

  • @Bellalodicci9 You're an absolute fucking cunt.

  • @HeavierThanWater Better than being an absolute one-eyed fucking cunt ; )

  • @Bellalodicci9 You're an absolute moron. Nick Griffin has one eye, and somehow something leads me to believe he's probably one of your heroes. Absolutely fucking love to see you mouth off like that at someone in real life.

  • @HeavierThanWater I could smash Brown to a pulp in seconds and I would pay good money to. I voted UKIP. If you cannot see the damage this wierdo "dyed in wool" Socialist tosser has done to the country you must be living on a different planet. The list is too exhaustive. Try reading "Gordon is a moron", "Squandered". "Boom and Bust : Gordon Brown's legacy" "The Rotten state of Britain : How Brown lost a decade and cost a fortune " among a plethora of books that denigrate this deluded fool.

  • @HeavierThanWater Yes and if was a straight vote between voting for Nick Griffin or this useless idiot who has left this country up to its neck in shit Griffin would get my vote. At least he is pro BRITISH. The trouble with Brown is he gives shit a bad name.

  • @Bellalodicci9 And that just confirms you're a raving lunatic. Thank you. Long live Gordon Brown: the best Prime Minister for many a year

  • @lexy09r Hmmm. His book on how "he saved the world" hasn't sold very well you know. Why do you think that is then ? : ) . Bargain basement after less than a month on sale in Waterstones. So so so sad. It really is. Does he make any reference to his repetiton of "I agree with Nick" in it ?.

  • @Bellalodicci9 You should stop reading the sun, it does your intellect no good.

  • @IHeartThisVidxD Too busy reading "Gordon is a moron" to read The Sun. I suggest you do too and anyone else for that matter.

  • A barnstorming performance from a massively underrated man. Sure, he was not an election-winning machine like Tone, but he was equally well-intentioned.

It's a shame that the empty rhetoric anti-Labour bods spout ignores their achievements.

  • @MrToadful I bloody don't

  • @tantawi1992 I know it is a joke what happens when people say politicians speak passionately, it's like Hitler.

  • @thehippriest

Manufacturing declined faster under labour than Thatcher.

  • @usainlightning and yet under her unemployment went up.

  • @usainlightning that is because the process had already begun. There was no turning back for any government after maggie's shock policies.

  • @21whitworth12 No it's because manufacturing can be done cheaper in China than here.

  • Come on you nay sayers. Love him or hate him. It's a great speech.

    Admit it.

  • GB is pretty badass =)

  • I hope Labour never gain power again I was shocked that so many still voted for them last election.

  • @darkstar3x16 Why ?.He spent all taxpayers money in creating a socialist paradise. Massive non-job creation in the public sector (targeted in Wales, Scotland and the North of England)- unfettered immigration which diluted the private sector wages all so he could create a massive swelling of people who would always vote Labour as they had a cushy non job or no chance of deportation. ...contd

  • @darkstar3x16 All this fiscally inept destructive moron wanted was stay in power even if it meant trashing the economy to third world standards. He is a despicable thief and a liar and should be dangled over Traitors Gate and left to swing by the trossachs !. Cameron would have got his majority if he hadn't mentioned (although honest ) his plans to disband a large part of the Public Sector. Turkeys don't vote for Christmas. He should also have got rid of that abhorrant, floppy-haired buffoon.

  • @Bellalodicci9 You say that he is a thief and what do you mean by fiscally inept? He delivered more budget surpluses than any other Chancellor since 1945.

  • Anyone who cannot see the great damage and long term damage inflicted on this country by this mentally unbalanced Catastrophic Caledonian Cyclops must be living on another planet. A BIG mistake by Labour to appoint this weirdo as leader. Even his old pals Blair,Mandelson and Milliband think he is a useless sack of shit.

  • I cannot understand how he can make a speech as great as this and generally flop in most other pre election speeches and debates. Obviously you cant always be on top form, but still, something seemed different in his attitude in other appearances. Such a huge difference.

  • @Themsthebreaks1

He was allowed to speak his mind and not just the party line. Let Brown be Brown and he's everything Labour should have expected from a leader.

  • Great speech. A good man. A shame that he was dogged by the murdoch/tory backed media circus so much.

  • During the run up to the 2010 elections I called Gordon Brown a C word. I wish to make a public apology to him. This does NOT change my view of him, I still believe he is working for a rogue organisation. But I feel it was totally wrong of me to use such a harsh name. I am NOT doing this to gain anything, what I hope to do is make this an example to other people who TROLL on the internet with hateful messages. I shall provide CIVIL and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in future

    Peace be with you all

  • @CheeKeun I just want to say how much I respect that comment. You are a bigger man than many others on here, including me.

  • I really miss him, now we've got some rich kid running the country.

  • if every speech Brown gave had been as good as this one he'd still be PM. Better yet, if he'd actually governed this way instead of getting in bed with the City.

  • 172 days paid, 2 days in parliament 1 vote. Gordon Brown, paid to write a book at the public expense...

  • This is a hugely exceptional speech.

Whilst Labour has a lot of policy work to do on aspiration, fairness and insecurity, amongst other key concepts, it is a huge understatement for me to say that I miss Gordon Brown enormously.

    Dr Shibley Rahman

  • i miss him already now the dam blues are in things have goten worse allready and the bloody libdems have lost what litle credabilaty thay had

  • think history could be upon us again soon with everything happening around the world today

  • This is a great speech and what Gordon was all about. Its such a shame he left it so late and also let people tell him he needed to be more like Blair to win. He should have stuck to what he was good at and he may have had a better chance of winning

  • @jlrinthemix What was he good at then ?. Uncontrolled immigration, our country in debt to the tune of 150 Billion and a hugely expanded welfare state bleeding the workers dry with taxes.

  • @Bellalodicci9 He was good at showing us what a poor Prime Minister is as he bumbled along day to day breaking everything he touched

  • @pimpUK1 He was like King Midas except everything Brown touched turned to shit.

  • @Bellalodicci9 tere is a very large andd very influential concept in macro-economics that basically states that if your country is hitting a recession, spend your way out of it by any means. This is what the UK and many other countries did, including the USA. Cutting debt is alot easier and less painful than plumeting into a depression.

  • This is a great speech and what Gordon was all about. Its such a shame he left it so late and also let people tell him he needed to be more like Blair to win. He should have stuck to what he was good at and he may have had a better chance of winning

  • This is the speech of his life

  • Gordon brown was kicked off for the wrong reasons , Its unfair that Gordon had the rescission while he was in charge , it was not his fault , the media are a bunch of rich twats who want to get richer via the Tories so they make labor look bad when really Gordon was put in the middle of a crisis and he fixed it, he is an amazing man and David Cameron needs to be shot, hes ruining this country making the rich richer , the poor poorer and the middle class have to pay ridiculous tax

  • @ShopSongs What are you talking about !. It it this one-eyed dipstick that did everything he could to support the house price bubble. This has created a massive gulf in class and has virtually fucked anyone under 35 chances of ever owning a property without parental help. I know the Tories started it but Labour slammed down the accelarator hard. This fiscally inept cyclopic idiot thought you could borrow your way out of debt. It is through his encouragement of borrowing we are in such a mess.

  • makes ed miliband's introductory speech look even more flat and shit

  • This was by far the best speech of his election campaign.

  • Whenever people like Gordon Brown talk about fairness I reach for my wallet, because it usually means they want to extort more money from me.

  • Brown's obsession with equaliy is totally irrational. Inequality is good for society because it creates incentives for people to work harder and achieve more. If everyone is equal then what's the point of bettering yourself? What's the point of earning more money if the egalitarians will take it away from you?

  • @MrYoungIndependence What a way to view things. A truly compassionate character. The funny thing is that the point of this speech appears to have passed you by, which only serves to belie your own situation. Cheers, pal.

  • @TOAF1981 It has not passed me by at all. I know that he believes in redistribution of income, but this can only be achieved through state interference. What is wrong with earning more money than other people? That's a natural part of life.

  • @MrToadful You want gordon back ? are you serious? Please watch a video of this tool and tell me you want this bubmling idiot back as PM.

    watch?v=m33RUseb7Wg

  • @NumberDne Yes and yes. Strange as it may seem, I don't judge the competence or values of a politician, or a person in general, on how media savvy they are. Neither do I make my decision solely on a video designed to make them look bad. Brown wasn't ideal, but I'd take him over David Cameron any day.

  • @MrToadful well let me say this to you sir. The three main political parties in britain are known as the LibLabCon, and not without reason. And the reason is that they are all the same and in the end do the same thing with our country. So to be honest, the only thing left to judge the leaders on are their personality, because dont forget, these are the people who, if ellected will represent us to the world. And gordon brown is a complete douche bag regarding his personality

  • 20 years ago, this would have been a conspiracy

  • My uncle (ex finance manager of HBOS, Lindsay Town) spent 13 years with this sack of crap, he even said when Blair was Prime Minister that the banking system was wrong, and Labour did nothing, and when it did collapse, he gets blamed for it (among others), he was such a bad prime minister, and so when Cameron was elected, he bought himself a Maserati!:)

  • @Museman159 Yeah it sounds like your uncle had a real tough time dealing with gordon Brown, so much so that all he could afford at the end was a Maserati!! Poor him.

  • Hark at the silly ranting of this mono-eyed moron. The cunt should make a public apology for the stinking great pile of shit and destruction he has wreaked upon on and has just skulked off back to Fife leaving us to clean it up. Thanks for nothing you "One-eyed Scottish Idiot" !!!!.

  • To all the people who claim Gordon was a terrible Prime Minister, then lets see YOU step up to the plate, and become a MP, with a view to becoming Prime Minister. This man saved this country when the recession hit. ask yourselves what would Cameron have done? Let's hope for everyone's sake, that when the cuts come, the present government have got it right. If not, Brown's critics should go down on one knee, say "I'm sorry. Please come back."

  • @frankydave Brown was a fucking unelected half-blind autistic freak who didn't have the skills to be an unelected PM. Autism Boy Brown ruined the once-great UK. So glad the great new government is cutting public spending. I hope Brown gets cancer.

  • @JuanMacready Gordon is an ELECTED MP. When he challenged for the leadership of Labour, nobody had enough support to challange him. The party and its mambers elected him, the only thing Gordon didn't do was win an election. On unelected PM's ,David Cameron is unelected, he didn't win it. In fact, he blew a 20 plus point lead, this despite having the support of Sir Michael Caine and Simon Cowell, and most of the print media, and he STILL DID NOT WIN . Because most people saw through him.

  • @frankydave Charles Calrke was right, it was stupid to let an autistic freak like Brown beome the unelected Labour leader in 2007. Eden called a General Election and increased the Conservative majority from 17 to 55. Cameron is elected because he is locked in for the next five years with the support of the Lib Dems. The one and only reason Cameron did not win an overall majority is because there are far too many worthless unemployed welfare recipients like yourself.

  • @JuanMacready Like I take it this is the same Anthony Eden who is generally considered to be the least effective PM! Gordon on the other hand, is regarded as the most effective chancellor ever, and according to econimists "skillfully" rode us out of the recession. The reason Cameron didn't win the vote was because too many people saw through him, and knew what a mistake he would be as PM, as the final election debate proved. Finally I am employed and a Graduate. So I'm worthless am I?

  • @frankydave Eden was a million times better than theuautistic freak Brown, and at least he was elected in his own right. Brown was the worst chancellor ever, all he did was sell off our gold reserves for nothing and make people better off to stay unemployed forever. The reason Cameron didn't win an overall majority is because of unemployed welfare addicts like yourself. I hope you get cancer.

  • @JuanMacready No offense but you need to learn how to back your arguements up with evidence. Even Churchill critised Eden as being superfical in his politial career. Yes Brown did sell the gold reverses cheaply, but not all of them. I admit that some prefer to stay on the dole, but not everyone on the dole wants to be. So Bill Bailey, and Eddie Izzard are worthless dole addicts are they? Maybe they like a lot of people was through them. Is the pressure getting to you?

  • @frankydave Eddie Izzard is a stupid unfunny fucking freak.

  • @JuanMacready Well that's a matter of opinion isn't it? Anyway what gives you the right to label people "freaks","autisic"? And then say "Hope you get cancer. What does that make you? A facist? I saw you were 16, well if your the future, then god help us. I only hope that you learn to grow up, oryou never get cancer, cause otherwise you will realise what it does to people. One final thing I have Asperger's (part of autism), and I have achieved things I should never have. What have you done?

  • @frankydave So you have the same condition as Brown then? This government has already given us the best budget since 1981.

  • @JuanMacready As far as I'm aware Gordon is not autisic, or have Asperger's. If he did that he had every reason to be proud of himself. Not everyone becomes Prime Minister. If you think you can do better, then lets see you try it. Regarding the budget, ecomimists have already said it is regressive, and will cause us more problems. You've lost the arguement, to a freak. Not good. Anyway I'm off for a run before work, where the momney will be used towards starting my own business. See ya.

  • @frankydave I don't think I could be as witty or articulate as David Cameron at Prime Minister's Questions so I will leave cleaning up the mess left by New Labour to him. Hopefully getting some of the 8 million unemployed adults of working age off benefits will be the first priority.

  • @JuanMacready Wishing cancer on people??!! Is that what being a Tory supporter is about now? Has anyone you know ever had it? Despicable.

  • Some academics concluded that the "One-eyed Scottish Idiot" was the third worst Prime Minister we have had since 1945. It is hard to imagine there were two PM's even more shit than Brown.

  • Gordon Brown was just a Jewish puppet, he worked for the Jews' new world order only, not Britain or the British people.

  • I'd like to see Clown Cameron make a speech like this

  • @impressionsbysimon Cameron is a much better public speaker than the autistic half-blind cunt Brown ever was.

  • TRAITOR

  • That was the best speech I have ever heard from an ugly Scottish mono-eyed moron. The "One-eyed Scottish idiot" has done more damage to this country than you can possibly know,

  • @Bellalodicci9 what about thatcher?

  • @Bellalodicci9 I think he made some mistakes - selling the gold for instance among others. But as prime minister, he was goose-stepped by the labour PR into seeming like more of a moron than he was. He's a passionate politician who at least in private isn't afraid to call someone 'bigoted' - his failing was that he lacked the courage to really speak his mind in public.

  • @Bellalodicci9 "The "One-eyed Scottish idiot" has done more damage to this country than you can possibly know" Damage, eh. Such as?

    =-)

  • @JPBStory . Supporting and encouraging astronomic house price increases wiping out the hopes of most people under 30 of ever getting on the property ladder. All that easy money being thrown about like a drunken sailor has fucked our economy for decades. The mono-eyed moron admitted himself he should have done more to regulate the banks, Read the book "Gordon is a moron" . It is concise and accurate. You will feel rage towards this cunt believe me.

  • @Bellalodicci9 Agreed he should have done more. However the current prime minister was quoted many times saying that they should deregulate banking at the time. He didn't support raising house prices that'd be stupid. If you genuinely think someone can be that stupid you cleary don't understand politics.

Your magical precognitive-empathic powers astound me, I shall have to go out and buy this book to prove you right...except if you're wrong.

    =-)

  • @JPBStory House prices rose under Labour Gov. as property ownership/inflated prices was the only thing we had left propping up the "Economy". We don't manufacture anything anymore and don't export anything anymore. Gordon Brown knew he had to keep the housing market artificially high in order to minimise Gov debt (eg, a retail unit up for sale on paper valued at £1.1 million through a bank, albeit not sold, looks a whole lot better when balancing the books than if it was valued at £500,000).

  • @Bellalodicci9 That would be a valid argument if Gordon Brown controlled how much properties cost.

    =-)

  • @Bellalodicci9 The lack of manufacturing was a result of the 1980s and the shift from manufacturing to commercial businesses for wealth generation. Fair enough Labour did nothing to reverse this and the result of the inflated property market. But they did not create the high pricing, that was a result of people instead of moving houses doing them up and creating overly elaborate houses. That however probably wasn't helped by the lack of affordable houses being built which was their fault.

  • That was the best speech i have ever heard from a politician. Such passion and conviction. Gordon did more for all of you than you can possibly know.

  • Brown was the worst Prime Minister the UK ever had. I hope the autistic freak goes blind in his only eye.

  • @JuanMacready Autistic Freak!!?? Criticise him for his politics granted, but to stoop as low as that you are disgusting.

  • @JuanMacready What is your problem with Autism? You seem to have some serious problems of your own, especially as you're so young. You're wishing someone to die of cancer... Well I think that says a lot about you as a person then doesn't it.

Also you don't elect the Prime Minister, they're appointed by the Queen, the Prime Minister is simply whoever can command the power of the House of Commons. Churchill during World War 2 was unelected as Prime Minister if you're going to take your view.

  • @JuanMacready Go to DirectGov and look under these headings. Government citizens and rights>UKgovernment>Central government and the monarchy

"The Queen alone appoints the Prime Minister, and all other ministers are appointed by her on the Prime Minister's recommendation."

  • @GBHardy Shap-OWNED. :D
