  • SUCH A BEAUTIFUL LIVING BEING...and humans take for granted the beauty of these creatures.

  • Let the dam thing die ugly shits

  • @silliegirl50 ok, we will let you die, but you didn't have to ask for it...I am sure I understood you correctly.

  • aah they put her back before the mother woke up.

  • It probably better healthcare than the American people treating it.

  • Amazing how damn vulgar some assholes are on the most random of fucking threads.

  • poor baby

  • what a good mama this gorilla at the end of video another gorilla is trying to touch her baby and the mommy pushes the hand away from her baby, like if she is thinking "ok close enough" "dont touch my new born please, go wash your hands dont where they have been" toooooo cute love this video

  • @articzoo As it says in the description: 'undergoing surgery to remove lump from back.'

  • Nice ;)

  • awww poor babyy :( such a trooper

  • This is amazing! Thanks to all those who work hard to preserve our wild animals... BTW the baby is adorable...

  • please why was the baby operated on ???

  • @wildman912 to remove a lump on it's back.

  • I wonder if they can see in color.

  • @VintageAntique I believe they can

  • the cutest part for me, was when then they were putting her face down on the styrofoam support. they were so gentle.

  • The woman with the baby had a mask on because gorillas are very sensitive to human germs and they didnt want to risk the mother or the baby catching a cold.

  • Out of curiosity, why the face masks when you were retrieving the baby gorilla? I understand the necessity during surgery, but I found it odd that the woman grabbing the baby was wearing one as well.

  • @2009ForJesus really dude xD

  • they probably wouldn't use the exact same equipment without cleaning and sterilizing everything, most likely it's a seperate animal only hospital kinda thing, although of the animals in the great animal kingdom, Apes / Gorillas / and monkeys all share a great deal in common with our own body so it stands to reason they could use the same type of equipment to do the procedure.

  • That's a real stupid question. Common sense people!

  • its cute !

  • then why did you watch the video?

  • lmao nice :P

  • what did it do to itself?

  • If she was back in the jungle, she'd have the same access to medical care as many poor people in the USA.

  • i love this video

  • what professional staff =)

took care of the baby just as if it was a human baby xD

  • @dirknowitzki900 Hey guess what... I'm still alive! And I have the ability to spell, write sentences without any issues, don't use numbers where they shouldn't appear, use punctuation marks so people can read what I'm saying, and I don't use reversed psychology to make people read what I wrote... But maybe that's just because I'm not a retarded 10-year-old?

  • aweh! it's so sweet when she yawns in the woman's arms & makes a 'lil squeaky noise!

  • i agree

  • @DoesYourChangHangLow Luckily now even dead children use phrases like 2NIGHT and B4.. You better post this or else the bad grammar ghosts will come for you as well, and kill your ability to type entire sentences!! Now that's scary right there!

  • I hope it went well....

  • AWE :(

  • Hey even to baby human or gorilla baby when they get a shot and surgery, when they wake up none human baby or animal baby do not scream or cry, they are still under that shot and do not have so much power to cry...,... this is logical on it self..,

Any way baby is so adorable :o)

I wish this baby gorilla is my :o)

  • awee that was adorable.(:

  • Cute.

She was very quite the whole time.. i guess they don't cry as much as human babies?

  • they knocked her down, gave it a shot and put it to sleep.

  • I'm talking about after she wakes up.

  • he/she is cute :)

  • Mamma and Pappa gorilla: ZOMG! Where have you been? What happened to you?

Baby gorilla: You'll never believe this, but I was abducted by these strange blue creatures who did weird medical surgeries on me....

    lol, origin of gorilla abductions.

  • he or she is the cutest thing of LIFE.

  • killercroc88: Ok watch the video again, The mother was trying to keep that other ape from touching her babys stitches, she wasn't picking at them she put her hand over them, That isn't bad.. It would be bad if she touched the amount of doorknobs we do, or used the bathroom and flushed like we do, She probably has none to barely any germs on her hands. Watch closer next time.

  • Agreed, besides the fact that gorillas do have tons of germs..

    :]

  • omg she is so cute, poor little ç_ç

  • thats sooo sad

  • Uh, Western Lowland Gorillas ARE Endangered...

  • @dahalcon Ya! think of the webkinz of that!

  • Most species of gorillas, and apes/monkeys for that matter ARE endangered. And with them, all links of the food change associated them. And with our God given intelligence if WE are not to care for them, who is?

Yes, the focus should be on humans, but we should care highly for all animals as well. Most every zoo and veterinary association are grossly unfunded, FYI.

  • Your a moron. Humans destroy a hell of alot more animals then they save, it IS our job to care for them.

  • @Pieter15 no it isnt its their fucking job to take care of their fucking self

  • @thomassu1697 Are you serius? how can a ittle baby gorilla protect itself against humans cuting them there homes?

  • @Pieter15

    You're*

    a lot*

if you're going to insult someone, at least have reasonably accurate grammar.

  • @SuckMikeHunt If you're going to correct someone's grammar, at least do it in less than three years. I obviously had no interest in my grammar at the time however, my message was just as clear without it.

  • @Pieter15

hmmm it was 3 years ago, and your grammar has clearly improved since then, so you are therefore forgiven. Have a nice day.

  • Does the mother understand not to touch the stiches

  • Baby gorillas die like flies out in the wild without medical attention; it isn't called 'the wild' for nothing you total dumbass.

Responsible zoos need their specimens to stay alive and be well cared for.

  • too cute! made me cry. i want to work with gorillas one day!

  • As of Jan 13 the gorilla baby is doing great!

She is eating normally, taking her medication and the surgery site looks good.

Her mom is taking good care of her.

  • How wonderful. Gosh, that's amazing. Thank you!

  • i hope its gonna be ok

  • what happen to the baby gorilla
