Installing Windows XP sp2(if you get an error message)

go to google and type in download windows xp service pack 3 and search 1st link down click it and it brings you up to the new version of windows xp service pack 3

it say hal.dll has been corrupted or missing.

Okay, so this problem could be because of a missing link in the boot.ini file. or a partition path in the boot.ini is missing or invalid. go to the Microsoft website and search hal.dll and there should be an article you can read. if you need more help just ask.
