Not really. If you can keep a pretty good quick rhythm you could do it, but it isn't exactly easy.

Besides that, it doesn't make any difference how hard it is, what matters is how well it fits the song.

Must I make a Dragonforce reference? Incredible playing is worthless if there's no essence of musicianship.

no slide, but there is obviously a wah pedal going. That creates the 'white noise' in the background. Tom Morello has a video lesson in Guitar World on how he creates these crazy sounds.

I saw LB in concert about 12 years ago when he was lead guitarist for Steve Perry's solo tour. He was only about 22 or 23 years old then, and he played Neil Schon note for note. LB has the chops.

ok its really not that hard. mute the strings with your fret hand middle finger, and tap the strings with your pick hand and your fret hand index finger. and you gotta play with the wah pedal too, thats how he gets that cool sound with it. to get that crazy sound at the end he said he just slides his ring on the strings. watch the vid and youll se what i mean.
