  • Esto no luce muy real.... me parece que es compositing? Si o No VFX guys??

  • @saulfalconi

No Saulfalconi, no es "compositing", son imágenes reales asembladas para hacer peliculas.

  • whoa, never seen stars like that

  • It was so fuckin' awesome to see stars go around the earth,

  • I live here and have traveled through the Cotopaxi and have never witnessed such beautiful space life all around. Every time I go to school I see the Cotopaxi from a distance and it looks like a real life painting so I suppose I should catch it at night one of these days because its just a cruise of one or two hours for me :)

  • the stars are unreal... i miss seeing stars like that...

  • Towards the end, you can see the climbers ascending to the summit with their headlamps :)

Been there twice already (only as far as base camp unfortunately).

  • @focista6 youll see it that way on shrooms

  • Great video of showing our universe. It gives us a perspective of how our planet moves across space.

  • wow

  • it must be amazing to live in a place with no pollution so you can see everything in the sky

  • @Jfrog90 On the contrary, yes this exact volcano is nature at it's best and is hardly surrounded by pollution, but the rest of my country is just a polluted wasteland.

  • that was beautiful

  • мы лишь пылинка в этой бездне :))

  • Это лишь видимая часть.

  • how are these shots made??????? i tried to make a night time lapse, but my stars leave a line behind them due to the long exposures...if i lower the exposure the stars are not visible..... i'm clueless too....

  • The milky way!

  • Can somebody explain the technic of making such a video ?

As far as i can tell, the photographer isn't using long exposure stills combined together because you can see planes smoothly crossing the sky!

    So i'm clueless...

  • Absolutely awesome. Congratulations on a brilliant piece of film-making. I'll be showing this one to my kids to teach them what happens to the sky at night and how the earth moves.

  • Wow amazing@

  • beautiful :)

  • wow this is very beautiful. I would stay up all night to get this when there were no clouds, but at that time of year and altitude that would be rare. Very nice once again !

  • The way the sky begins to fully shine at 0:28 is incredibly beautiful!

  • I think my brain just had an orgasm. . .

  • Beautiful! Thank you.

  • APOD: Volcano is first seen through breaks in clouds Soon the clouds have dissipated & a sky filled with stars seems to rotate about the peak. The band of our Milky Way Galaxy, the dark Coal Sack nebula, & the Southern Cross can all be seen overhead. Satellites streak by from several directions. Soon clouds roll by and seem to make the brightest stars sparkle. On the volcano (at about 1:13), the lights of climbers flash. Near the end, a bright airplane passes over the peak with a residual trail

  • congratulations for to appear in APOD today.

  • @gork71 : This is the flashlight of a climber heading for the summit.
