DUDES, I AM ALMOST 44 YEARS OLD, STEVIE WAS AND FOREVER WILL BE ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES...I'M SURE HE WAS LOOKIN DOWN FROM HEAVEN ABOVE WITH A PROUD SMILE ON HIS FACE...THANKS FOR POSTIN AND CARRYN ON THE LEGACT!...ROCK ON LIL BROS...
You guys are good at this song. If you had been set up close together it would have sounded a lot better. Got to get tight together and you wil learn the more you play. BUT YOU GUYS KICKED BUTT, GOOD JOB WELL DONE from drumsticklewis on utube
It was a true pleasure hearing you guys play. Thanks for sharing and from one musician to another it only gets better my brothers. Keep it up and maybe one day the rewards will surpass your wildest dreams. RIP Stevie Ray, just look what you inspired!! He couldn't have asked for more.
Wish i had started learning guitar when i was ur age :) and be on stage like you. YOU ROCKED THE HOUSE RED HOUSE... that girl cryin out was your GF i guess ;)
Just to set the record straight the song was written and recorded by Hank Ballard who also wrote The Twist among other early rock hits. SRV no doubt took it to another level...keep on rockin dudes
I gotta say thats pretty cool, hell I've been playing SRV's stuff for more then ten years and still ain't got the balls to do it in front of a crowd, keep it up bro....turn your amps up a lil too aww hell crank those S.O.B.'s
oh my god, this sucks!!!! are a disgrace to Stevie Ray Vaughan and everything that he stands for and more!!!
Don't worry man, keep working on it, and you'll get better i promise. you need waaay more volume on your solo and riffs. Buy a tube screamer and it will be ten times more awesome. work on the vocals too. if your having a hard time singing high, try Jimi Hendrix stuff, he tunes a have step down so he doesn't have to sing real high.
Lay of the drummer dude, he sounds pretty good. I wonder if you can play drums like that, if you can't shut the fuck up. I'd gives these dudes a 10. ROCK ON DUDES.
very good your voice is a lil rusty but thats good stevie ray had a rusty voice and im a big SRV fan my self and im only 16 its good seeing some young people play SRV
Hey, good job! I used to go see SRV in Austin Texas at the Rome Inn when he was a couple of years older than you guys look. He was just the little brother of the Fabulous Thunderbirds at the time and the typical crowd was 40-50 people. The crowds got bigger. I would like to hear you guys play the song "Red House". One of my favorite Hendrix tunes...
Great job young dudes. ..playing at a level far above your years. Great to hear some young blokes doing SRV too.
Yeah maybe your young voice doesn't really have the depth, maybe the timing isnt quite in the pocket.. whatever.. I was impressed and this was year ago eh.
Good execution of a good song. I'm not gonna lie though, your voice doesn't fit the song too well, but your young. Start smokin those cigarettes and drinking that hard booze and you'll have a blues voice in no time ;). Always good to see the youngins have respect for SRV.
WOW. all the negative comments. I couldn't BELIEVE how well these guys pulled off a VERY difficult song. his solo too was incredible. remember these guys are VERY young..and to pull off this caliber of musical talent and grace at their age is just phenomenal. I'm VERY IMPRESSED. being a musician for 24 years myself. GREAT JOB!!!
i remember starting out to, so lets be constructive people please. you have to watch the basics , which timing & tuning. its speeds up & slows down & the bass is out of tune. my advice is get tuners & practice to get the timing up to scratch. keep it live fella,s
it was constuctive, truthful & non-abusive criticism... must be a first for youtube! if my comments upset you i apologise probably. i always give someone credit for getting up there & remember how i felt & how bad my first gig mustve been. any band will improve with honest advice rather than just "brilliant, fantastic" comments just to boost ego,s.... that doesnt help anyone. anyway, as i say keep it live & my ears are VERY clean thanks.
Ha I do appreciate it man. I was definatly to harsh on that reply. Now I know where your coming from. I appreciate that fact that your being honest and your not just a friend who is saying "it's amazing" just because they want to, we need to hear the truth to get better! I personally agree though with what your saying. This performance was our first and worst performance. But thats normal for a first. It's been many months and many gigs past and were doing alot better.
Saturday, April 5th 5:30 - 10:00 1313 N. 2nd St. (Pilgrim Hall) Phoenix, AZ 85004 $5 Lineup: Tungsten Lights Up Universal Spunk Redhouse Roveen Little Brother Mojo
Rock on young bro's! It is great to see some young talent doing something other than ripping hard metal and the young babes in the audience reaction should be the litmus test to prove you are on the right road! I'd pay to come see you!
play that shit little brothers........fuck the critics! while your on tour they will be at home eating tv dinners complaining about something else..........
the lead singer looks like a mini bob dylan

Great for the young age, but seriously - if you are gonna cover SRV, you should really play some great guitar. And the lead guitar was not great.
