  • mmmmm....bacon

  • Comment removed

  • that's right, fatten him up

  • This is so damn cute!

  • HOW CUTE!!!! Thank you for making my day!!!

  • i feel bad for the 7 blind people

  • I love pets that's why I'm vegetarin.. I respect them!!! <3

  • So cute!!!!!

  • Its like a puppy! :D

  • I'm sure you probably found out by now, but that's a NORMAL size for a potbelly piglet of that age. There's no such thing as a micro pig, teacup pig, or pocket pig. I'm just saying this here for all the folks who might come view this video and come away with false hope for piggies that stay piglet sized--- they don't exist.

  • how big do these pigs get?

  • breeding animals for pets for the purpose of profit with a few exceptions is a pretty gross way to make a living. i can't believe people still buy into this crap. selective breeding is creepy. the desire to keep pets represents mankind's desire for control which is creepy. people who love animals want them to be free. the only exception i can think of are long established breeds of dogs or cats, and then only if you live in the country, not in some little apartment in the city.

  • @demerc The desire to keep pets represents mankind's desire for control which is creepy - Welcome to the world, dude. Seriously, read a book. Your ignorance (combined with your good logic) is pretty astonishing.

  • @purplefuzzythings What is your point because you haven't made a coherent statement? My point is that breeding animals that tend to become 'throw aways' for profit is sickening.Breeding animals that add to the already over populated unwanted pet population, for money,is sickening.Selective breeding for some twisted desire to make them cute or to perform a certain task, with no regard for future health issues, is sickening.Breeding animals to fulfill peoples toxic desire for control is sickening.

  • @demerc Well, I agree that those things are morally wrong, but they're only sickening to you. Sickening is a particular, subjective emotional state.

My statement was completely coherent. Read a book. The human desire for control is universal and has existed since people could call themselves humans. What, you're going to stamp it out one pet at a time? You think we can just eliminate that, ever, and move on? Well, okay. Without that "toxic" desire for control, enjoy not having agriculture.

  • @purplefuzzythings We are at a time in human history like no other. In the age of information, we finally have a democratic nearly universal access to connect all of the dots. I am not naive. I try to get other people to connect dots. Many people think there is nothing unusual about wanting a pet, until they are exposed to how it relates to other systems of control.Agriculture in it's present form is part of the problem as well. cont...

  • @purplefuzzythings Food forests, polycultural permaculture designs and a return to hunter/gatherer ways of life is the only answer. Control when it is detrimental to human/animal life or the planet is the problem. There is a way to live with it. We don't have to throw the baby out with the bathwater. There are even exceptions to what I say about pets, I don;t mean that all animal keeping must be evil, just most of it in it's present modern forms. There are ways to have the best of both worlds.

  • @demerc Yeah, okay. Keep telling yourself that. When you come back to reality and actually understand psychology, I doubt you'll be so optimistic that everything has a simple solution. But just to shoot you down - you want me to willingly give up the social structure of the city and everything it gives me, including amazing research laboratories and hospitals, sex, drugs, and international goods, so that I can stop the suffering of animals I don't feel right now anyway?

  • @purplefuzzythings Of course the solution isn't simple. But we connect dots and all of us have the opportunity to

awaken. It's not about what I want you to do.It's about your process of awakening and realization, then you will realize how everything relates.Maybe you're mistaken.I'm not a PETA,vegan animal activist. And as for you're latter accusations, no I am nobody.I'm just awake.Elitism is the problem. Most of these problems are rooted in dualism. You are a bit judgmental. Are you're elderly?

  • @demerc No, I'm not elderly, though I assume from that you're young and dislike being put under someone else's authority.

Even if you say you are "awakening" - no, you think you're awake. At the deepest level you think that there's a division of knowledge between you and everyone else. You say "realize" like this is the one logical conclusion, like everything logically just falls into place. Unfortunately, in the real world there isn't even one set of facts, or education, or viewpoints.

  • @purplefuzzythings I'm neither young nor elderly.I may think I am more awake than the average person but you're mischaracterizing me by assuming my m.o. is egotistical. If i was an elitist, i'd have no desire for everyone to be dot connectors and start awakening. You like to argue, hanging on my every word.Of course, after what I said about awakening,i'm aware that realization isn't some finite process either. With the 500 character constraint here, lighten up.I understand well how much i don't know.

  • @demerc There's that word again - elitist. I'm not saying you're egotistical, I'm saying that you're dividing the world into two halves, right and wrong, with yourself on the right side.

It takes two to argue. I have been arguing this whole time, and, yes, hanging on to your words (that's what arguing is), but you've been participating with me this whole time as well.

Okay, guess I'll just lighten up and go away.

(it's ironic that you deny you could be ignorant of your own ignorance)

  • @purplefuzzythings Dualism has some place in reality,it isn't all hijacked man made philosophy. You're aware of some of my opinions yet you remain very elusive. You make many assumptions as well. You don't have to go away, just ease up on the assumptions and make whatever it is exactly about my original argument that you disagree with, clearer, instead of this general opposition that snowballs with everything i say which speaks not to sincerity but ego. Your last statement was enlightening and true.

  • @demerc an electrician will view the problem from their standpoint, a biologist from theirs, a homeless man from theirs, etc., even if exposed to the same facts. Think subtly, don't think in a bucket of social change, or taxation, or philosophy, or anything. When you understand how much you don't know, you'll understand how difficult the problem really is.

  • @demerc in my opinion, though, the most foolish statement you've made is revealing that you think that at least some animal keeping must be evil. You know this sets you up as the savior, right? You know this sets you up as better than everyone else? I bet it makes you feel smart, out-of-the-box, special.

Maybe you should read Socrates. "An honest man is always a child." "I know nothing except the fact of my ignorance. "

That's true emotional, epistemological, and philosophical maturity.

  • @purplefuzzythings let me rephrase that. I am not 'awake'. I am continually awakening, since it's a journey, not a destination.

  • Is it possible to get your email address please? I'm doing a project on micro pigs and would love contact you about them. I've been on the website but i can't find an email address :-)

  • I want a pig so bad. She's sooo cute. But I dont live in the UK. I live in the US. Do you know where I could get one?

  • @Wbrown1994 we are just about to start in the USA and Canada - keep an eye on the little pig farms website

  • @Wbrown1994 i know some people around my little town here in michigan have (mini) micro pigs...

  • @Wbrown1994 check with meif you are near VA. loli-pop farm. we checked over seas....how about $1000.00-$5,000 plus air fair!!! we will hve piglets. micro pot bellies in the spring. i love my 2 soooooo much. we've decided to breed them.

  • @Wbrown1994 we ust love our micro's. sooooooo sweet. if you are in VA you can check out loli-pop farm in the spring.

  • @Wbrown1994 i have 2. they will have babes in the spring. we did not have up to $5000.00 + air fair. so we dedcided to research them and find them here. we live in southern VA. LOLI-POP FARM.

  • Isn't the kitchen the last place you'd take your pet pig?!

  • i "hope " your a vegetarian or in the least have stopped eating bacon ....

  • @dragonfist76 no not a VEGETARIAN BUT I DONT EAT PORK!

  • @littlepigfarmuk

    that's what i do!

  • Comment removed

  • @dragonfist76 bacons goooood, ham... not so much. Adorable pig though!

  • @DavesChillaxin i am glad you like it.people who have tasted human flesh say it tastes like bacon when crispy.maybe thats why they test so many topical medications, ointments and lotionz on pig skin.it'z so genetically similar to ourz.hey,a few questionz for ya bacon boy:would you eat cat or ferret or how 'bout a dog?and since you love it so much can you slaughter and butcher a hog,for yourself,by yourself.blood, gutz & all?oh,and pleaze be honest.sorry but i get touchy about this stuff.peace

  • @dragonfist76 nope. I'm too light hearted to hurt any animal, though I do what I need to survive. Cause if it wasn't for the people who did, then you could consider our own species to be nothing of what it is today. Nor would we have those teeth in our mouths designed specifically for eating meat.

  • @DavesChillaxin Most of mankind for most of human history has lived on vegetarian or near-vegetarian diets. For most industrialized countries, the love affair with meat is less than a hundred years old.It started with the refrigerated train car and the twentieth-century consumer society. When you look at the comparison between herbivores and humans, we compare much more closely to herbivores than meat eating animals.Humans are clearly not designed to ingest meat.We are CONDITIONED to eat meat.....

  • @DavesChillaxin Meat-eaters: have sharp front teeth for tearing, with no flat molar teeth for grinding

Herbivores: no sharp front teeth, but flat rear molars for grinding

Humans: no sharp front teeth, but flat rear molars for grinding

  • Respond to this video... Meat-eaters: have strong hydrochloric acid in stomach to digest meat

Herbivores: have stomach acid that is 20 times weaker than that of a meat-eater

Humans: have stomach acid that is 20 times weaker than that of a meat-eater

  • @DavesChillaxin Meat-eaters: have acid saliva with no enzyme ptyalin to pre-digest grains

Herbivores: have alkaline saliva with ptyalin to pre-digest grains

Humans: have alkaline saliva with ptyalin to pre-digest grains

  • @DavesChillaxin Meat-eaters: have no skin pores and perspire through the tongue

    Herbivores: perspire through skin pores

    Humans: perspire through skin pores

  • @dragonfist76 amen brother!

  • @dragonfist76 Why cant tney both be cute AND delicious

  • @CPRailRTC well, both cute AND delicious are a matter of personal preference. some people find rats cute while others find wax moth larvae to be delicious ..... because you see, everything iz relative. Meaning, it all depends how you see the world .. az well az your roll in it.

  • @sillebabs

never eating bacon again? ... now no reason to loose our heads!

(kidding) I rarely eat the stuff now as it is...HBP

  • @DoshUnScripted I wouldn't eat an animal I kept as a pet, but only that particular animal. Even if I had a micro pig, that wouldn't stop me from eating bacon

  • @sillebabs man, thats a big step to take in life. good luck! :)
