i was really thinking about buying a resistance band, do they work just aswell as weights? can they make you bulk up in a athletic way too? I would be worried incase it snapped when excercising haha! Thanks for your Help
@caminiho Yes, resistance bands work just as well as free weights, and resistance bands can be used to build muscle. If you're concerned about your bands snapping and possible injuring yourself, check out Bodylastics resistance bands, as they have a new anti-snap inner cord technology.
I dont want to be to bulky just like a athletic type of build because im quite lean to start with, Can resistant bands help me get this way? Thanks Again
Hi love your videos, just got my resistance bands, I really dont know where to start which video to follow there are so many, do u have any video for a full body workout im will to purchase any if u have... Hope to hear from u soon.
@cathiefrances Hi Cathie, thanks for your positive feedback. This video that you've commented on is a full-body workout you can do with your resistance bands. You can also visit resistancebandworkoutroutines [dot] com and download five full-body 10-minute power circuit workout routines (free download). You can also go to my Mode Athletics website (modeathletics [dot] com) and download my Mode Workouts ebook, which is a 90-day resistance band workout program (free download).
hey is the thick braided band more tighter resistance or harder then the single band?? because i recently got off the dumbells and got me a single resistance band im liking it i use them insteads of weights ever since then my muscles are getting harder but im trying to get a more harder stronger tougher band can you tell me what band should i get ,thanks
@MrCharlesoung The thick braided band is pretty heavy resistance, but if you're looking for a set of resistance bands that provide heavier resistance than the braided brand plus the additional versatility of being able to micro-adjust resistance by clipping and unclipping bands, I suggest you get the Elite Cords (full disclosure: the Elite Cords are my own brand of resistance bands).
hey one question can you get muscle with resistance bands the same way as getting muscle with gym equipment and can u get muscle working out with your own weigth like push up squat etc
@smoovovi Yes, you can build lots of muscle with resistance bands, and you can build lots of muscle just by doing bodyweight exercises. You do not need to go to the gym and use the fancy equipment they have there to build muscle.
I prefer resistance bands over dumbbells because the bands provide all of the same benefits of dumbbells, at a fraction of the cost. Resistance bands are also portable.
My brand of resistance bands is called Elite Cords.
When buying a set of resistance bands, just make sure you buy enough resistance to challenge yourself. You won't get anywhere with a couple of light bands.
Yes, you can absolutely get in great shape, burn fat, and build muscle with elastic resistance.
How do you get your bands to stay attached to the door? I can see that there is some kind of attachment, but I am not sure what it is or where I could find one. Please help.
Do a search on YouTube for "resistance band door anchor" and you'll find a video I made where I show you what the resistance band door anchor looks like and how it works.
All my workouts are total-body workouts, and you should rest at least 48 hours between total-body workouts. So anytime you perform one of my resistance band workouts, take at least one day off before doing another workout. The most common way to structure this type of a program is to workout Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If you push yourself hard enough during your workouts, there's little need to do more than 3 total-body workouts per week.
i think i was working across the road to this geeza LOL

Does the time of day matter much when you work out?
I've only really got time to work out before i go to sleep is that ok or should i make time during the day?
kingdarko 5 months ago
@kingdarko It doesn't matter what time of day you workout, so just workout at whatever time works best for your schedule.

I have a couple of Questions.....
Which is better, a dumb bell or that rubber-ban?
what is your rubber-ban's brand?
Any specification on a rubber-ban that I should know of before I purchase one?
Can I have a body like yours just by doing that rubber-ban exercise?
that's all, Thanks....
