  • Laettner will always be a pansy for it. Coach K lost all credibility for leaving him in. The refs lost all credibility for failing to eject Laettner.

  • Duke sucks balls!!!

  • Christian suck my dick you little whiny ass bitch

  • Should have booted him from this game for that and then he would never of been able to make the game winning shot and Kentucky would have gone on to win. There was no excuse for him to continue playing after tryin to blatantly cause hard to another player. No sportsmanship what so ever...Duke sucks!

  • @whitelght9 agreed!

  • UK is an honarable and fine establishment that actually plays by the rules in every activity you should call a sport... Other schools no not at all they cheat to win will do whatever it takes to win because that's all that matters to them.... Nowadays u can't play duke at home anymore without them winning because of referee favoritism.... Duke is a good basketball club every year they play indeed but they should be good enough as it is to not have to cheat to win. UK has never had referee help

  • Comment removed

  • Should have been ejected. He is a little bitch

  • The NCAA changed the technical foul rules as a result of this play so that techincal fouls counted towards personal fouls. Had this rule been in effect at the time, Laettner would have fouled out. Such a historic game.

  • This Guy Is a Hero.

  • Fuck you bitch ass laettner, if I was at rupp tonight I'd cause malice in the palace and stomp it ass, lay your dirty ass duke infested shoe on another uk player ur ass will have beer splattered on your face bitch

  • He barely touched the guy but stomped on UK's dreams. You UK people have some real brain disorder if you think that is a stomp. Come to North Carolina, we'll show you wussies what a stomp is.

  • @christschool Thumbs Up x's 100!!!!!!!!

  • It was actually Richie Farmer that had pushed him earlier in the game, not Aminu Timberlake. But good excuse, Laettner, it's still bad sportsmanship.

  • Comment removed

  • Justin Timberlake played basketball?

  • should've gotten kicked out

  • @gobigblue417 I agree, I still hate Laetner

  • PART OF THE GAME

  • Christian Leattner is punk

  • too bad when he got to the nba, he played like a soft little bitch. that's why there will ALWAYS be one bill laimbeer.

  • Will not trade ignorant insults with anyone. Kentucky is the ALPHA and OMEGA of college basketball.

  • @phizzo ok i think tht was my brother. hes my uncle ^ hehe

  • jaffey go die ur the damn coward big blue rules

  • laettner shoulda been ejected. if that had been demarcus cousins he woulda been ejected and suspended

  • @catsfan1115 Demarcus Cousins didn't have anywhere near the college career Laettner did. Unlike Cousins and the other "faux" student athletes at UK, Laettner has 2 rings.

  • Why did he suck so much when he came to the NBA?

  • @neomysterio he was good at first, but injuries and drama built up quick

  • @neomysterio He never sucked in the NBA. He was the Wolves' franchise player, an All-Star with the Hawks and the season after, he got a very serious injury

  • @neomysterio Substance abuse.

  • Duke is a second rate UK...... Bush league BS. Coach K's Flame will burn out just like his mentor Bob Knights did and Duke will be in the duldrems just like IU is now. Flash in the pan BS.........

  • @poppaBsmooth we'll see how that prediction turns out

  • @poppaBsmooth And here, folks, we have positive proof that crystal meth DOES affect your 1) long term memory 2) gives you delusions of grandeur and 3) irrational hatred bordering on sociopathy.

Every other UK fan has both 1) a trailer he lives in and 2) a crystal meth lab in it.

So , good luck, Mr. Policeman finding this guy...

  • @Christlovesanimals Christ loves the truth. Truth hurts, don't it? ou can dilute yourself enough to call me a meth head, trailor tras, and what ever your dizzy mind can come up with, but facts are facts hon. It is what it is. Where you a DUKE fane through the 70's, 80's?" No! get of your dilusional soap box and face facts. Fact 1) Duke is third best in the ACC second best at most. Fact 2) Before Coach Hitler they are pereinial garbage. Fact 3) Win 7 Titles and we can talk.

  • @poppaBsmooth I've been a Duke fan since 1967 chump. Coach K and I began at the same time: 1980.

Duke was a major power in basketball in the 60s twit.

Win 7 titles? .....on the way chump---AND ALL WITHOUT NCAA SANCTIONS, SORRY COACHES AND THE USUAL PARANOID UK FANS.

  • @Christlovesanimals Yeah it was all without NCAA sanctions. Must be nice being the NCAA's lap dog. It allows you to get away with shit other schools get severely punished for. The only reason people think Dook is a squeaky clean program is because that's the picture the NCAA painted for them. So you became a Dook fan after they made the Final Four 3 out of 4 seasons? Typical bandwagon jumper. What do you mean you and Coach Krybaby began at the same time?

  • @GreenDay1981 blah blah blah kentucky blathering rationalizations....NCAA lapdog ...

    you're such a punk.;

  • @poppaBsmooth UK is where dummies who can't go to a real school go to.

  • he admitted what he did was wrong. all players make mistakes. ppl act as if theyve never tried to get back at anyone. the only duke biased was with the fans.

  • As far as I'm concerned, Duke did NOT win this game. Laettner should have been ejected for this egregious and deliberate foul. His arrogance and dishonesty were on full view; everyone saw it but Duke's coach and the refs. Sad that the true defining moment of the game is forgotten by everyone except those of us in Kentucky. This was one of the greatest college basketball games of all time, but Laettner marred it irreparably with his unforgivable act.

  • suck a cock u fuckin pussy.

  • ky will allways be better than duke i mean really wat a ass

  • i'm still waiting for laettner to kick justin timberlake...

  • It was basically a shove, but with his foot. Typical Duke pussy

  • If that was anybody else they would have been thrown out of the game, but DUKE is and always will be "holier than thou", It makes me sick but it is what it is!!

  • The boy won me so much money I don't give a damn if he took a shit on him !

  • Wow, what a load of horse sh#*!

I couldn't care less about college basketball or anything to do with it, but to call that a "stomp" is laughable at best. A more accurate description would be that he "placed" his foot on the other players tummy. It didn't even hurt the guy, you could see that from the players reaction. Get over it, it's NOTHING compared to what goes on in professional sports EVERY DAY.

  • He didn't even put any body-weight into that "stomp"......It was simply a sign of disrespect. He didn't deserve to get booted out, the officials made the right call.

If it was a literal stomp, like some people try to claim, then yeah, he should've been ejected.

  • wow amazing that almost 19 years later we have this argument still going on!! any player before or after this would be thrown out of the game!

everyone with common sense knows it. how can anyone defend lattner? he was a great college player and i rooted for duke the 2 years before this in their championship games, but talk about SHIT...wtF?? puke's 92 banner has a big * beside it because the guy that hits the shot should have never been allowed to be in the game. good job refs we got a classic

  • I love Duke. Life long winners. Not a bunch of one and done trash or thugs.

  • @tomanders1 Jealous much?

  • @poppaBsmooth Jealous of trash thuggs? No.

  • everyone quit complaining about the past. shut the heck up have a coke and a smile.

  • You know I've always heard bad things about Kentucky fans (whining, complaining, expecting too much all of the time, etc...), but I just thought it was probably a few here and there. After reading this board, wow. However, I still have hope most of the Kentucky fans aren't like this. Kentucky fans here's a bulletin: You have two championships since then, and have been a pretty good team overall., what do you care Christian Laettner stepped on him? You got over already! You win! Case closed.

  • Give a minute all you Duke bitches. UK is gonna start spankin that ass real soon. You had the same coach for a while. We finally got a good one who can recruit. So get your face ready for a bitch slappin.

  • @hicksroadstyle you mean a coach who violates NCAA rules cnstantly and got two programs punished??

  • @WILL1ONE Haha got 'em.

  • @WILL1ONE actually, Calipari didnt put any schools in trouble. Bruce Pearl did. I dont think Derick Rose is John Calipari. It was the players who put the schools on probation. Dipshit

  • @catsfan1115 really? how'd you explain umass?? calipari was the coach of that program when camby was around.

  • @WILL1ONE wasnt it Camby who got in trouble? not calipari? exactly

  • @catsfan1115 also wasn't it memphis and not calipari that got in trouble? 2 head coaching jobs 2 trips to the final 4 2 times the same coach was sancantioned and he is still allowed to coach? Whats it gonna take for him to not coach in college anymore, the death penalty for a school?

  • @catsfan1115 so after cal leaves uk and they are on probation then its gonna be kanters fault because he was the pro getting recruited or someone else's fault not cal's? I am trying to figure it out but I know trouble seems to follow him where ever he goes. Help me figure it out if you can. Thanks

  • @BapticostalFreak Nope. Look at Scam Newton. He shouldnt have got to play this year. The players get themselves in trouble, then cal gets brought into it cuz he coaches them. Rose cheated on a test. how was that cal's problem?

  • @catsfan1115 from what I have seen it was his dad not him wanting money from the school so how is that Cam Newton's fault? its not. Rose didn't cheat on a test, he didn't even take the test, he had someone take it for him. Coach Calipari knew about it and still let him play. If he didn't let him play Memphis never would have gotten on probation.

  • Typical Duke call by the refs...a slap on the wrist if that. I remember that like it happened yesterday. That chickenshit should have been thrown out of the game. Boo Hoo he pushed me so I had to get him back. Like you didnt do any pushing of your own. If that had been a Kentucky player they would have been thrown out of the game. Duke bias by the NCAA then and Duke bias by the NCAA now! Oh, and did I mention Corey Maggette?

  • @ukkats1998 he wasn't tossed from that game because it wasn't a rule then a.k.a. the Lattener rule now. Just like if you make contact with your elbow to an opponent above the neck its a T weither on purpose or not a.k.a. the Cousins rule. I saw it several times during both the NCAA and NCAAW tourney. For one example a vandy player going for a rebound while looking to the rim elbowed a guy in the face behind him and he got T'd up. One can tell it wasn't done on purpose but still a T.

  • @ukkats1998 Wanna talk about boo hoo? Get over it.

  • @ukkats1998 dukes out of the tourney and kentuckys in

  • @ukkats1998 lol ur a retard. Boo Hoo he pushed me down? the fuck? I was to young to remember this game, but i bought the tape. I watched it, and Timberlake was playing dirty. He did in fact push him a couple times. Not little pushes, but blatant pushes. And you act as if UK players are the most perfect players. Every player makes mistakes. People blow this one out of proportion.

  • @TheDukeFan96 You are a typical Duke fan with your holier than thou attitude. You Pukes think that you are better than every university out there and your precious Coach K and his program are beyond reproach. You are just like every Duke fan I have ever had contact with, everyone else is a second class citizen if they are not a Dukie. Duke is the NCAA's Golden Child and they do no wrong. The NCAA turns a blind eye to their infractions. 2 words: Corey Maggette, and of couse no sanctions.

  • @ukkats1998 It's funny how you're so quick to judge me on how i treat other people. I do not think duke is the best university out there. In fact, Kentucky has a better basketball program then Duke. Over the past 20 years, Duke has been the dominate school. Its people like you who make the game so fucking annoying. People who complain duke gets calls. Suckers do that. Your probably one of those people who watch games for criticism and not for enjoyment. Go fuck yourself you ignorant fuck

  • @TheDukeFan96 Keep showing your lack of intelligence by using profanity. If someone does not agree with you they are automatically an ignorant f... or some other profane word. I watch college basketball no matter who is palying because I love the game. I just get tired of the slobbering love affair the sports media and the NCAA has with Duke basketball. If I'm watching Ohio State and Purdue playing or any other 2 teams besides Duke I dont want to hear about how great Coach K and Duke are.

  • @ukkats1998 ikr its so ridculous did u see where they were put in the tournament this year,CHARLOTTE right across the street but uk gets to play in tampa and played harder ppl and still made it to the final 4 take tht ncaa

  • @ukkats1998 it's been 19 fucking years you UK fucktard!!

  • smooth, Duke continues to own kentucky and the ACC. Coach K runs the show.

parrots, it was a love tap. he got called for it. i think somebody is mad cause he just happened to be the one to take care of business and hit the winning shot.

widersteve, just read what i said above. you are probably mad that they beat butler for the title last year.

as for all of you who actually watched the video and also noticed that timberlake was not seriouly injured, finally some intelligent people.

  • @sentinelofcalvary It doesnt matter if he was hurt. If you were Timberlake or a UK fan, and got stepped on, wouldnt you expect him to be thrown out of the game? bandwagon Duke pussy

  • @catsfan1115 first of all I have been cussed at for almost five years doing the same job, so your immature name calling is just that immature. Second of all i actually played basketball and was going up for a rebound one time and was flagrantly fouled so hard that two days later is when they realized i broke the small bone in the lower back of my leg. i could put up big enough of a stink that they tossed him from the game. i didn't. I went to the free throw line and knocked down my shots.

  • The player who injured me could have been suspended from playing for several games, but i forgave him and spoke to his coach and school on his behalf. after i healed, he vistited me and we became friends ev. we played against eachother 4 times in the two years on jr college teams. so i know about being fouled on purpose. By the way i am not a bandwagon Duke fan. I have been a Dukie since 1981. That is 30 years for those of you who waste brain power on cussing instead of doing math.

  • @sentinelofcalvary Obviously you havent a clue to what you are even talking about. Kentucky is 11-8 against Duke all time. Do some research before posting stupid comments on here. The only thing Duke owns is the refs!

  • Comment removed

  • @ukkats1998 wow a whole three game advantage. hey i am impressed a kentucky fan that know his history of the game, but simply can't get over the fact that Duke wins games just like everybody else they show up they play hard. they lose games the same way they show up they play hard, but sometimes like the, arizona game this year, the other teams show up and play harder. the difference between me and all the other fans is i don't blame my team's failure to win on the refs.

  • @sentinelofcalvary Yeah we know the history of our team, unlike you apparently. You're the one that said Dook "continues to own Kentucky". Don't back out of it now. And what a heartwarming little story you told to. Almost brought a tear to my eye...NOT! What does the altercation between Asshole Laettner and Timberlake have to do with Kentucky being better? Greatest shots in history? It was a turnaround jump shot from the free throw line. Not a hard shot to make. I've seen a lot tougher shots.

  • @GreenDay1981

I think you have the laettner jumpshot's significance all messed up. It's not just the level of difficulty of the shot. It was deep into the tourney, when college basketball was at a prime, they were down one and needed a perfect full-length pass (pass is arguably more impressive than the shot) to salvage an entire season with basically no time remaining. Without that moment there would be one less banner hanging from cameron indoor. That's why it's a legendary moment.

  • @EdudLufetips You emphasized what I was trying to say. If this shot had taken place during a regular season game, it wouldn't be considered the greatest shot in NCAA history. In fact, it wouldn't get shown near as much as it does. The ending to Minnesota-Indiana in the 2008 Big Ten Tournament was more impressive. It should be getting more air time than this.

  • @GreenDay1981

totally disagree. you also have to consider the level of competition, even in the ncaa tourney.

indiana hasn't been a relevant force in college basketball since forever. the only reason they're brought up these days is because of an ancient perfect season under bob knight. michigan had a fluke recruiting year with the fab 5 but that was also nearly 20 years ago. duke/kentucky for a trip to the final four is far more of a classic, and the programs have been contenders perennially.

  • @EdudLufetips This game was 19 years ago. How is that any better than saying "the fab 5 was 20 years ago"? Did you even watch the ending of the Minnesota-Indiana game? I doubt it because if you had, you wouldn't still think this shot was so great.

  • @GreenDay1981

you totally missed what i was saying on two fronts. duke and kentucky have been top tier programs forever. duke and indiana have been average or below average since a long time ago. that's why people still care about duke and kentucky and don't care so muich about non-factors, despite the greatness of the shot.

    2. yes, i saw the shot, and it was amazing. again, i don't argue the shot itself, but the circumstances. these teams compete for championships every year. ind/mich? no.

  • Respond to this video...

    i meant *michigan and indiana,

  • @ukkats1998 Duke traps themselves by relying on shooting the three point shot to much. they also get comfortable or layed back when they have a lead on a team. they do not always stay tough and finish a team off. they also are to casual in their play at the opening momments of games and this opens the door for strong first half teams to attack from the get go.

  • @ukkats1998 the things i mentioned are frustrating to watch, but they are things that cannot be blamed on refs being bought off. i have watched the tournament and have seen so many teams go down and then try to blame it on refs. Either you are there to play to win or you go home. we have no number seeds left in the tournament. this is not because of the refs or bad calls this is because their were other teams that wanted to be there just as much or even more than the number one seeds wanted to.

  • @ukkats1998 the philosophy that if my team is losing or gets eliminated is the refs fault is so juvenile. DUKE, Kansas, Pit, and Ohio State wouls still be in the tournament if they had truly played like the number ones in their brackets, but they didn't and therfore they are gone. In 1992 if kentucky had truly been the better team they would have beaten Duke in regulation. the over time would have never happened, the altercation between laettner and timberlake wouldn't have happened.

  • @sentinelofcalvary Laettner would not now be known for an infamous stomping incident but also be known for one of the greates shots in history. When I played basketball I always told my team mates lets take so much control of the game that we never have to rely on the refs to make a decision they may win us a game or cause us to lose. that is why even if a ref makes a call in error i still place a win or a loss on the team not the ref.

  • @sentinelofcalvary I am a die-hard Kentucky fan but I enjoy watching college basketball no matter who is playing and I get so sick of the commentators talking about Duke when Duke is not even playing. Dicky V. was on Pitino's jock when Pitino was at UK and I got sick of Dicky V saying how great Pitino was. I do not blame the refs when Kentucky loses, if you are a good team you have to overcome bad officiating. Im just saying if that was a Kentucky player that player would have been ejected.

  • @ukkats1998 all i have to say is they are not talking about Kentucky anymore either. go Butler

  • @ukkats1998 so even though record wise Duke may not own Kentucky they did that day. kentuck was just blessed to be the team that Duke made history against. so if i were you i would get on with life. You need to be foucused on your team now which i might add i am going for because i can't stand uconn. 1999 will always be an example of Duke not being tough enough to finish a tournament. 2011 was disappointing so I unfortunately will have to wait another year, but Duke will be back.

  • @sentinelofcalvary Needing overtime to beat a team is not "owning" them, moron. What Arizona did to you in the tournament would be considered "owning".

  • @ukkats1998 so even though record wise Duke may not own Kentucky they did that day. kentuck was just blessed to be the team that Duke made history against. so if i were you i would get on with life. You need to be focused on your team now which i might add i am going for because i can't stand uconn. 1999 will always be an example of Duke not being tough enough to finish a tournament. 2011 was disappointing so I unfortunately will have to wait another year, but Duke will be back.

  • college basketball is stupid.

I wish they'd lift the 1yr of college ruling so I can see the best ballers play from the moment they turn 18.

  • The Moment That Made Me a Duke Hater.

  • @TheRealJamDawg is that a title of a book or something?

  • Hard or not he should have been tossed. Duke gets ALL of the calls; the bias in their favor is disgusting.

  • Love taps :)

  • STOMP? really? It was nothing more than pushing someone in the chest, but with his foot. He got T'd up and that was all he should have gotten. Boo Hoo UK fans!

  • This is why Duke sucks. He should've gotten thrown out.

  • Does anyone have this complete "Beyond the Glory"? I've been looking for it for a while.

  • christian laettner actually didnt do that very hard, he did it a lot as a taunt rather than an act of aggression, in the aim of hurting the other person. look at timberlakes face after he stomped on him, does it look painful at all? no, he got right back up with a smile on his face looking at the ref to call a technical.

  • @irandohm So because he didn't do it "very hard" it's no big deal, and should just be ignored? Give me a break. It doesn't have to be painful for it to be a problem. It's called sportsmanship. You don't stomp on people like it's some playful thing to do.

  • @sentinelofcalvary thats all they know and they will hate you for bringing up names like Alex groza and cameron mills and what they did at UK.

  • @poppaBsmooth how is the 1951 and 1952 still in the record book after the 4 players in 1949 took money from a bookie to throw the game in the NIT Finals. All 1949-1952 records should have been expunged from the record book by the NCAA just like they did to memphis in 2008 and umass in 1996. How come they weren't expunged?

  • @poppaBsmooth wow they regualry won their conference but couldn't regulary win the national title. anybody see the constant pratice of coming up short. and no one even had to tap or stomp on one of kentuky's players.

  • I love how Clark Kellog tries to say he didn't do it on purpose and Verne Lundquest says, "yeah, he did." Didn't do it on purpose? I suppose he thinks John Wilkes Booth didn't shoot Lincoln on purpose. If he had played for Dean Smith he would have been benched for the rest of the game. But then again, Dean Smith did a lot of things K doesn't.

  • What has Kentucky done lately? Oh, they reached 2,000 wins last season. Has Dook reached that mark yet? No? I guess if Dook had done shit before 1991, they might have reached it by now. To ask someone "what has Kentucky done recently" makes you sound like a bandwagoner. Of course, Dook fans typically are. Do you even go to football games? I bet you would if their football team didn't suck.

  • wow that was a faggy stomp

  • It's going to be fun watching Duke fade into obscurity after 2012.

  • @slabnab dream on sucka. what has kentucky done lately? when was their last final four?

  • @metzdawg3000 yeah? well how bou that acc? youre an asshole who dosent know anythin bout collage bball, so jus keep on worshiping youre overrated, racist, nerd kingon. aka dook

  • @slabnab you are the only one who is obscure.

  • @slabnab how is duke gonna fadeinto obsucrity when they will have all three Plumlee brothers, one is 6-9, the other is 6-10 and the youngest will be 7-0. plus they will have kryie irving again. and all the supporting cast from the freshmen and sophmore class around them. please your words will not even be rembered while i am watching duke continue to do what duke does . win

  • GOT 7? NOPE!

  • @poppaBsmooth got any recently? NOPE! will those 7 help you this year? NOPE!

  • @metzdawg3000 Do you have a history before 1991? Nope. Will Dook ever reach 7 National Championships? Nope, unless they pay the refs off like they usually do.

  • @GreenDay1981 OOOHH way to be original, loser. wow, 7 national championships. big effin whoop. when was your last title? how many has Duke won since then. Way to call us "Dook". not like everyone else says that and sounds retarded for saying it. you are soooo original. i wanna be like you someday. and to say we have no history before 1991....that's like saying UK has no history before their first title. you're not making any freakin sense.

  • @metzdawg3000 Yeah, I see a lot of originality in that comment of yours. Like saying "when was your last title" is real original? It's not.

  • @metzdawg3000 GO DUKE! they look pretty strong this year!

  • @metzdawg3000 do you see UCLA fans talking about 11 national championships? no. Do you see them talk about 106 total national titles? no. they have class.

  • @GreenDay1981 first of all if Duke had payed refs of don't you think they would have already won 7 titles, and then have to forfeit them because of all the money all you Duke haters seem to think they have thrown at refs and officials. get over youselves. be true fans of your team support them by cheering them on. don't accuse other teams of cheating just because one night your team may wind up losing to them. Players make mistakes, officials make mistakes, and even coaches make mistakes.

  • @GreenDay1981 we cannot say if kentucky would have won the game if laettener had been ejected, grant hill could have made that pass to bobby hurley or another player and it still could have gone in. we will never know. we can't say if kentucky would have won the national title if it had gone to the final that year. Michigan had the Fab Five and that might have been there year. i think that is how we get frustrated when we think about what happened in 1992. we get thinking about what could be

  • @GreenDay1981 Our impatience in wanting to see our team win takes over and even if our team loses fairly we have to blame it on the refs or if our team loses because of what we consider a bad call we have to blame the other team. when our teams loose, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, Northcarolina, or anyother school, we just have to say to ourselves "next year. after duke won in 91and 92. i spent ten years saying next year and then it was 2001 when they won their third title.

  • @Greenday1981 It took nine more years of me saying next year and then it was april 2010 when they won last year. I am not sure they will win this year, but if they lose i will not be focused on blaming others or the other team. i will be saying next year. I still can have pride in all my team has accomplished this year. i feel no need to insult fans of other teams. i consider you all my fellow sports compadres. so please if you have opposing statements make them respectfully.

  • @sentinelofcalvary The NCAA would never make them forfeit those titles because Coach K sucks every NCAA committee members' dick. He is their fucking lapdog. They let him get away with shit other schools have wins taken away for, so don't you think the NCAA supports Dook getting the calls? If you don't think Dook gets away with shit, maybe you should watch the final minute of last year's National Championship game again. Refs make mistakes, but the mistakes in that game were ridiculous.

  • @GreenDay1981 once again you have proven my point you lack the intelligence and the ability to have a mature converstaion about this subject . at least it took you eighteen words before you used an obscenity. Duke did not get all the calls that game and believe it or not even though i am a huge duke fan i did want to see butler win just because i like the finish to a good story., but that didn't happen. and yet here we are in 2011 and we might get to see a repeat of that show down again.

  • @GreenDay1981 please review all my comments not once have i attacked you, but i have adressed the fact that there is no need for you or anyone on here to use such terrible language towards me or anyone else. i respect your opinion, but you really do need to find a more respectful way of expressing it. Calm down and relx and enjoy the rest of the tournament. in the end like i said if your team or my team doesn't win their is always next year. God bless you and all you do.

  • @sentinelofcalvary What are you, a mormon? Get over it. How can you call yourself a fan if you root against your own team? I can't even begin to describe the stupidity in that. "I'm a huge Dook fan, but I was hoping the other team would win." OMG! I would NEVER root against my team no matter who they were playing. What kind of "fan" does that? Oh yeah, way to blow it against Arizona big time. That was the highlight of my night.

  • @GreenDay1981 If the highlight of your night is a team in any sport winning or losing then maybe you need to actually find a better way to spend your nights. there are so many more important things going on in the world and hopefully you have people in your life that are bigger than basketball. i didn't even get to watch the game because i have a job taking care of residents at a nursing home. Like i have said before I might wind up having to say " There is always next year. and so it goes.

  • @GreenDay1981 Duke finishes the year 32-5, 2011 Acc champions. Coach K with 900 wins. he will break the record next year. Oh and by the way i am not a Mormon. i am a christian. i did not outrigtht go for butler in last years chhampionship game. but if they were going to win, i wasn't going to blame it on refs. in a sign of sportmanship I would have been happy for them.

  • @sentinelofcalvary Screw you. If you get offended by curse words on a Youtube video, maybe you shouldn't be on it so much. I too have a job, so shut it. I said it was the highlight of my NIGHT, not the highlight of my LIFE. I didn't even watch the game either. I just saw the final score. Anyway, my team just knocked off the #1 overall seed last night and now face your rival. Will you be rooting for us or them?

  • @GreenDay1981 My desires to see who wins the game between north carolina and kentucy are sort of divided. i would like to see kentucky win becuase it would help Calipari to make it back to the final four and erase all the disappointment that surrounded his time as coach at UMass when he led them to the final four only to have to lose becuase Marcus Camby didn't perform at his best. They then had vacate all those wins because Camby took money from boosters. so i would be glad if they won.

  • @GreenDay1981 but on the other hand there has been so much talk about all the freshman on the team from north carolina and all the problems with players leaving in the middle of the season that i think it would be agood thing for them to win also. besides for north carolina to win tomorrow and have a chance to win it all would be that the ACC would have a monopoly on the championship. I say may both teams play a good game. i don't have a dog in the tournament anymore.

  • @sentinelofcalvary Yeah it would definitely be a shining moment of Calipari can win a National Championship. Of course, I'm ready for a bunch of idiots to say stupid things like "just wait until it gets vacated" if he does win. As far as I know, none of our players have committed any NCAA violations so this Final Four run should stand. They can't get us on Kanter either considering he never stepped foot on the court. The NCAA screwed us there but we still got to the Final Four.

  • @GreenDay1981 duke may pay off refs but uk pays player to play at uk or lets players take money from bookies too throw games.

  • @BapticostalFreak So Dook never gives out scholarships? Isn't that essentially paying a player to play at your school? The NCAA lets Dook players take money from coaches without any punishment for the school (i.e. Corey Maggette). God forbid they should endanger Coach K's "clean" image. Good thing Maggette chose Dook. Any other school, he would have been declared ineligible.

  • @BapticostalFreak So Dook never gives out scholarships? That is the definition of a player being paid to play for your school. The NCAA lets Dook players get away with receiving money from coaches without any punishment toward the school (Corey Maggette). God forbid they should tarnish Coach K's "clean" image. Good thing Maggette chose Dook, huh? Any other school, he would have been declared ineligible.

  • @GreenDay1981 All NCAA and NAIA schools have scholarships of some kind wither for class or sports. You can receive money from coaches just not boosters. He would have played at any other school too. Its certain teams like UK that hire people like Mitch Barnhart who was at SMU in the early-mid 80's and John Calipari who coached Umass in 88 and Memphis in 08 who was hired by Mitch Barnhart that gets schools in trouble. If your not sure what happened in 1986 at SMU just google it.

  • @BapticostalFreak Sorry but you need a lesson in NCAA rules. If receiving benefits from an AAU coach was allowed, I don't think former UCLA player JaRon Rush would have been suspended 29 games for it.

  • @poppaBsmooth You AND your mom suck donkey dicks

  • Laettner is a pussy i would curb stomp that loser.

  • Duke rules: UK drools. Period.

  • i'm 3 years old and i stomped on laettner's chest

  • Ahh, this was when basketball was a MAN'S sport and not SO watered down. I wish there was more physical violence like that again. I miss the 90's!!! GO DUKE!!!!!!

  • That cock sucker still won't drive through Kentucky. FUCK YOU LAETTNER.

  • Laettner Is the BIGGEST piece of shit to wear a Duke jersey and that says alot when every person to put on that jersey is a piece of shit. Puke Blue Devils are a bunch ass clowns. With a seudo Hitler as their coach.

  • @poppaBsmooth 2010 NCAA CHAMPIONS ....DUKE BLUE DEVILS. COUCH K...4 TITLES.....OUCH!!!!

  • should've been ejected and then duke wouldn't have gone on to win. They wouldn't have won the championship either. Scumbag

  • if you look up.. how can you see him unde
