  • Everbody that's been there hears and feels the soul behind this song Thanks Joe for you passionate playing.

  • Why listen to a speeding fast lame ass solo when you can listen to something this beautifull?

  • @AlexVitus theres nothing wrong with a fast solo if its done right.

  • @pyromaniarules And that's why i wrote "a speeding fast LAME ASS solo"

    Hooray for invisible dislike bar!

Unsure about the 12 dislike's mental condition though, blues lives.

  • ....again....You go, Joe...love you :-)

  • what sane person can dislike this masterpiece ??????

  • I heard Joe Bonamassa before today, but I never actually listened to him. While searching for Eric Clapton to listen to, I stumbled upon "Prisoner" by Joe. I don't even know what to say. After listening to a few songs, I've been touched emotionally in ways that I never knew possible. He's brought me through the stress of an obsessive relationship, through the struggles of a hard life, and now the isolation of utter loneliness. I can say nothing other than thank you, Mr. Bonamassa.

  • I have a freind dieing of cancer. he was a great guy worked really hard sloe gin its the drink we serve ourself hes only 49

  • I have a freind dieing of cancer. he was a great guy worked really hard sloe gin its the drink we serve ourself

  • SLOE GIN was written for (the actor) Tim Curry first solo album READ MY LIPS by Bob Ezrin and Michael Kamen who also produced that album in 1978!

  • Damn this song makes me cry, looking over the city on my balcony with a Scotch, just feeling my years.

  • So weird, just read top comment and that`s exactly how i got to know this song, through planet rock

  • @Odiebofink same here :) Planet Rock is awesome

  • You know I love ya, Joe :-)

  • 1404/12=117 , i think its the best like/dislike ratio i've ever seen on a >300000 views youtube video....says it all!!!!

  • This beautiful piece of music is pure class.....Blown away thankyou for posting

  • orgasmic <3

  • haunting

  • After listening to this I expect to hear: 'Autoglass repair, autoglass replace.'

  • Det her er simpelthen for godt!!!

  • cool

  • Twelve fags who don't appreciate good music.

  • I'm thirtheen and so glad that I'm listening to real music and not listening to the mindless crap in the charts. I'll never listen to that, I refuse to become another mindless adolescent following every other in this world!

  • @pani97 mindlessly?

  • Amazing...I'm speechless.

  • so young and he's got more feeling than a lot of guitar heroes. saw him with black country communion, and his guitar playing was amazing.

  • rock will never extinct coz of the people like him. Genres will come, genres will go, but rock will still be there.

  • son of a ..... do you have to make all your songs perfect?

  • mydogspet i feel exactly the same! I discovered him last month on a PBS special-the one where he plays Royal Albert Hall. Talk about better late than never! I don't think this dude knows how to make a bad record! I am spreading the word--just love him. Makes the shite on the radio seem even worse than i recognized it was before.

  • im so damn lonely... :(

  • @Linemanxx10 mee too,a BITCH just broke my heart :c

    I HATE HER

  • @Linemanxx10

I feel you man, me too dude. :/

  • Added to My Favorites, Joe Bonamassa has extraordinary talents with the guitar and his voice.

Kids, time to learn. What you are hearing over the pop station in your local city is 99% untalented, autotuned 'musicians'. Its time for you to listen to what music is really about.

  • nice!

  • hairs, goosebumps, the lot

  • My Dad introduced me to Joe and I have to say his music is amazing.I hear every musical influence when he plays.I hear Stevie Ray Vaughn,Eric Clapton,B.B. King.I'm only 21 but I know good music when I hear it.This is the kind of music I wanna see on MTV or on a musical channel.Keep it up Joe

  • One of the most meaningful guitar pieces I have ever heard.

  • this guy is my new idol that s really the music i like

  • Very nice person in addition to being a great guitarist. Met him 9 years ago, and he was very personable. This young man deserves the success.

  • awesome, and his new work is good too

  • this is a very nice song, very frampton-esque, which makes sense since he listened to humble pie when he was a kid. Go listen to frampton do "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and you'll see a lot of similarities in terms of tone especially.

  • Eric Johnson + Chris Poland bits can be heard here, duuude this is very amazing.

  • Just been told about Joe from a friend, WOW is all I can say, spine tingling

  • i never heard of joe til my MOTHER made me go with her to Philly to watch him... and let me tell you... this man CAN put on a show! needless to say, i've been a huge fan since

  • @genoentchev12345 thats how i heard of him....my mother invited me to go see him and it was unbelievable :D

  • After listening to Joe's music for months now, I've sorted out that the thing that sets Joe apart is an uncanny knack for mastering any genre of music he wants. Clapton's unique style differed because he couldn't exactly match his idols. He always sounded like Clapton. Joe can do some people's style's better than they can. At times you'll hear "Frampton", or "Billy Gibbons," or "Jimmy Page". But he's not a clone. As he's grown, he's combining all of these elements into "Joe Bonomassa."

  • Perfection is a hard thing to master...This is as close to perfection as you can get...Thank you

  • so wait, there are actually good new artists?

  • This is panty melting music here my good man.

  • Joe Bonawho?! never heard of the man, till i heard this song on the dutch radio just twenty minutes ago. Now i already ordered the album with this song on it. I don't pay often for music nowadays, course the music nowadays simply sucks, but this kind of rare & fucking quality deserves to get paid. Quality sells! Blues still lives \M/

  • @19boozebelly81

    radio?! you lucky sob!

they should play stuff like this more often...

  • @19boozebelly81 my brother in law just played this for me a couple weeks ago,and i've never heard of this guy untill then, its a shame how great music like this gets the backburner treatment, but lady gaga and all the other crap gets all the radio play!

  • @1211nov1978 Joe is in a band called Black Country Communion. Check them out its Glenn Hughs, Jason Bonham and Joe Bonamasso, their music is epic.

  • @N8iveNik thanks for the info i'll check then out right now

  • @19boozebelly81 Im in exactly the same situation as you are!

  • @19boozebelly81 Music only sucks in the mainstream. There are still hundreds of amazing artists if you know where to look

  • @19boozebelly81 Try also othere albums because this guy is just incredible. manny manny great songs.

He also plays with Glenn Hughes in band Black Country Communion - if You like rock its a hammer. :)

And also check song "Give me one reason". You can find it on Lee Rietnour album. Its just amazing song :)

  • @19boozebelly81

So hubby and I are watching PBS...they're yakking 'bout a dude named Joe Bonamassa during their money grubbin time...oh brother, we says."Sounds like some mob boss" hubby says. Next is this kid playing AMAZING blues at Royal Albert Hall. WOW!, we says, "Haven't heard playing this good since we were young. Agree with you 100% 'bout JB's artful playing but instead of nasty F-bomb how 'bout exquisite quality? Unique? Outstanding? Unparalled Quality? Yes, his playing is unparalled.

  • Dude, I'd heard of him, and to look at this guy or to hear him speak I thought he was a total geek. But once he plugs in...it's beyond words. He plays the most sizzling blues I've ever heard, and makes for a seriously kickass vocalist.

  • wow this is a lot heavier than i thought itd be much props to joe
