. i believe that monk will quit being a private consultant and just live. the poison is in his wipes. and about the murder..it was leland. they just released a commercial for pt 2 of the finale. monk holds a gun to leland. i knew it was him the whole time.
last episode, the "judge" is on the phone, in a dark room. they make it seem like the guy in the begining of the episode did it but only two guys have his hair style. him, and leland. also, the guy is more than likely a red herring.
i actually saw that and thought the same thing at first but they actually show a clip 2 seconds right after that that shows monking holding the gun and leland is to the side of him but monk is still pointing the gun in the same place and i'm not sure but i THINK you can see someone else i don't know though. i got a feeling its the judge just by nature of monk episodes how they always sidetrack you with something and make you think its not important at all but it turns out to be the key to it
One more episode left, I am going to cry so hard that friday. Every time I watch this commercial I want to cry. I will miss you Monk, former detective Monk.

Everytime I watch this, it almost brings a tear to my eye. I have been a huge fan of Monk ever since the beginning. I have seen every episode and own all the dvds. It will be truly sad when its gone. This is a great promo. The songs fits it perfectly. There will never be another show as unique and charming as Monk.
I'm so going to miss monk, I watched from the very beginning before anyone else i knew watched it and now it's become so popular that I almost wish it had stayed under the rador so people wouldn't remember him as monk so he could continue, but I understand, and I'm sure they will solve Trudy's murder and he will get his badge back.
