best hackling method. Allows for the body to be seen. Should be noted in your video, The original 'thorax fly' was designed and tied by Vincent Marinaro. Simply deadly.

This is a great pattern and easy to tie. I like using the dun antron instead of using the traditional dun hackle tips or gray mallard. The antron also works great tied spent spinner style without the hackle. One thing you said that is very important is to keep the body thin. Great video thanx.
