  • mr PAGE #1

  • page is my favorite hes my idol!

  • " Happy Birthday to ZOSO Jimmy Page !!! "

  • LOVE U PAGEY! !

  • i'm as cool as this song, take it how you like

  • Is Page wearing hobnialed jackboots ?

  • This was one of the greatest shows I ever went to. Laser light effects and everything.

I remember part of the show at least. The cloud of smoke that started when the band stepped on stage hung around me up in the nosebleed seats. I didn't possess or light a thing.

I remember Someone To Love as an encore, I think.

    Still awesome.

  • This is the ONLY kind of "radioactivity" I like!

  • Classic...

  • awesome freaky deaky guitar solo

  • Summer of 85 cruzin with the windows down..

    I missed those days.

    Northern VA

    Ocean City, Maryland

Up and down the east coast..Party On!

  • I remember listening to this song in the summer 1985. Anyway visit my you tube page.

  • One of the best rock and roll voice ever.

Saw these guys back in 85 in Philadelphia.

Hard to imagine that Bill Buford almost was the drummer of this band.

  • You gotta love the Zeppelin/Bad Company/AC/DC/Harper mix...Awesome.. too bad it didn't last long... :(

  • I think it rocks and is catchy as hell. But then again, it's only rock and roll.

  • This Album got panned hard back in the day...by the same Rolling Stone hippy douchebags. The same folks who would praise Springsteen or Dylan if they recorded their bowel movements.

Liked it then, liked it now.

  • Oh man you are right about that. I get tired of Rolling Stone heaping praise on Dylan and Springsteen and not recognizing great rock.

  • Oh yea! Jimmy baby!!!

  • paul has a KICK ASS voice!!!!

  • I LOVE this song!! Its been around for a while, but always a treat to listen to;)

  • The drummer played in AC/DC for awhile.... Shook ME All Night Long video has him in it... and a live dvd from that time...

  • Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company)

jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin, The Yardbirds)

Tony Franklin (Roy Harper) Chris Slade (Uriah Heep, Manfred Mann's Earth Band)

  • Chris Slade was in AC/DC on drums for alittle.... Look it up in his bio...

  • Granted, Zeppelin of course can't be beaten. But Radio-active isn't a bad song, and it does remind me of high school. Although I must say...what was up with the pirate boots and baggy white pants???

  • Sucked?, Paige?, Cool?...and you have the audacity to criticise.

  • Man...Jimmy's 80's tone sucked. Tons of chorus but no bottom end.

Still, cool song...nice bass line. Can you believe Rolling Stone had Paul Rodgers ranked lower than BJORK in their list of best singers ever? Christ.

  • yeah thats stupid.... Paul has a great voice that only got better with age... I think someone fixed the list lol

  • wow this song really sucks i cant believe some "rock and roll" fans enjoy this. crap this kinda music is the definition of boring. Paige with no blues equals total shit. Long live Zeppelin and music with true blues in their core

  • Probably because they were around and this brings back memories, it does me, it's like a one hit thing but then you weren't there were you......

  • what? this song rocks. bob dylan is the definition of boring. I put on his music when I have insomnia and I'm asleep instantly.

  • Luv this song!! LOVE Chris Slade!!!!!!! :P

  • thats cool that jimmy page was in this band

  • The Firm was a better live band than a studio band.

  • I remembered this song "Radioactive" by the British rock band The Firm, back when I was 4 years old.

  • love this song. That is such a unique and crazy guitar riff that jimmy does.

  • Jimmy is a AMAZING guitarist...that sound is crazy! :D

  • The drummer is so sexy!!! Who is he?

  • Chris Slade. Also played with AC/DC during their "Razor's Edge" era.

  • Very good! Thanks! :)

  • page is great - great song - kik azz

  • I enjoy a lot the way Page rules the stage.

  • i heard this song on the radio before seeing the music video, and i instantly knew it was Page on the guitar. his sound and style is so distinct, the chorus sounds like something he would play on a zep song.

  • When i saw this band they were the shit. Tony played the most amazing "hendix" solo on his bass. Jimmy was on top of his game, and Paul...what more can be said about Paul Rogers? Pure power and soul.

  • I wonder if Page had his suitcase full of whips with him on this tour?

  • fuck off fella.

  • Sources say he did.

  • Saw them perform in Niamey, Niger, and they didn't sound very good at all. In fact, I thought they were just a warm-up band for "The Hides."

  • WOW. what a sick sound coming from Page.

  • yea dig the chicka chicka part...1;49 Jimmy is cool...

  • Too bloody cool

  • I love Page !!!! around 1;15 is insane...

  • Ah chicka chicka chicka chicka.

  • my favorite part.

  • i love this song gets to the point..i luv you amer & oh yea baby u have the hertz to turn me on..lol

  • Always loved this song...thanks for posting the vid!

  • Great!!

  • Page looks like the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz. But then again, he has always looked like that.

  • Ha ha. I can kind of see it!

  • somebody must tell me how Ton Franklin does that jump dance thing between 11:09 and 11:13. Its so graceful

  • james patrick page

  • the voice!

  • The only time I ever got see Page was with this band. Rogers and Page on the same stage was a treat.

  • the double guitar owns

  • graccie!!

  • oh hell yeah!!!!! ty!!!!!!! kick ass!!!!!!!

  • You just can't go wrong with Jimmy Page,Paul Rodgers and Tony Franklin. These guys are incredible.Great song.

  • who's on the drums? looks like Phil Rudd from AC/DC? maybe...?

  • I'm not sure if it's Phil Rudd but I know for sure this same guy did play with AC/DC for a while. He is on the AC/DC live album.Rock on.

  • It's Chris Slade. First notable work was as the drummer for Manfred Mann's Earth Band but was later AC/DC's drummer for a few years in the early 1990's until Phil Rudd came back.

  • chris slade was uriah heeps drummer

  • Yeah, for less than three years and one album.

  • sry people listen to jimmy page 1970

  • wheres the bass player from?

  • Blue Murder, and played also with Whitesnake. The name is Tony Franklin, best known for bringing the fretless bass to hardrock/heavyrock.

  • Clasic song, a great and powerful hit

  • Fuckin' A.

    Your damn right about that!!

  • I see I'm not the only one.

    :)

  • Yes, this was the goods.

  • Awesome gathering..Very good song...Saw The Firm at Nassau Coliseum many moons ago...

  • Your fortunate to witness such a supergroup, and such a rare occasion and bizzare, original collective of musicians.

  • This song is Da-Shit,Jimmy page and Paul Rogers Nuff said just shut up listen and watch!!!

  • Mr. clean seems really into it. i thnk hes ac/dc;s drummer now.

  • Yes, but he was replaced once again by Phil Rudd..

  • i love this song its a classic

  • plutoo - how do you blow? In a direct manor against the skin or through a straw? Just curious.

  • plutoo's wack.

  • I love Page, but yeah, this solo always seemed pretty weird to me, not in a good way. But... in Steve Rosen's book FREE AT LAST: THE STORY OF FREE AND BAD COMPANY, Paul Rogers claims to have played the guitar solo on this song (!!!), which would explain how "un-Pagey" it sounds. The exact quote is on p. 197, in a chapter about the Firm: "'We did a lot of different things; 'Radioactive' was strangely unique,' reflects Rogers. 'I played the guitar solo on that.'"

  • And if that's true, it would explain (maybe?) why there's no close-up in this video of Page playing the solo?

  • what an incredible collection of talent! any one of these people has more ability than most any band being promoted by the music industry today.

  • jimmy page would always make great songs doesn't matter where he goes the firm led zeppelin etc. zeppelin is the greatest band and jimmy is a god to me

  • all too true

  • very addictive song

  • Jimmy Page is great! Too bad this group was a "One Hit Wonder".

  • More like 2-hit IMO. Satisfaction Guaranteed did rather well.

  • i was born the day after they made this video, judging by the < :)

  • thank god for jimmy page

  • Too young to see Zeppelin.

Got to see Page live and doing his bow solo, etc., because of this band.

  • One of the BEST songs of the 80's right here...God Bless that Jimmy Page.

  • Oh damn! I totally forgot Jimmy Page was in this band! I haven't seen this video in forever! This is a great song!

  • I like these guys. Like these musicians. But I hate this song.

  • awesome thanks for posting & thanks to summertime blues for sharing

  • Pefect!!!This so Cool!jst Luv Jimmy Page's Guitar here!Wow!!!Awesome Vid,Song,too!Excellent.Thx for Posting.

  • i love zeppelin, and i love free and paul rogers work inj bad company and queen, and chris slades drumming on acdc's razors edge but this it fuckin pretty shit.

  • James Page!!!

  • yeah...sit back & crank it.....

  • The guitar part that Jimmy plays with the sound effect on it. (Whatever it is.) It sounds New Wave! Like something Devo or someone like them would do.

    It's awesome!

  • The lead singer is Paul Rogers of Free and Bad Company. The drummer is Chris Slade formely of Uriah Heap.

  • Just love Robert Plants voice here!!

  • And Slash's guitar playing as well.

  • Lmao.

  • I hope you are kidding.

  • WOW! I grew up with Led Zeppelin from their beginning and have been a loyal fan since. I remember this song from the 80's but did not know that Jimmy was the guitar player. Although now that I am aware of it I can clearly recognize his style when listining. I guess it's never too late to learn something new. What an interesting discovery for me. Thanks for posting this!

  • saw these guys in 1984.couldn't believe my eyes!jimmy was awesome!paul rodgers,tony franklin,chris slade,all kicked ass!great memories!

  • would you idiots stop sqabbling like high school babies?? sheesh!

This was one of the best supergroups to come out of the 80's..wish they had done more together.

  • what gw'an ire.

  • I like this song a lot. Thanks for posting it. I was a teenager in Highschool at the time it first came out.

  • Hah! We had better expectations in the 80's when my friends and I had heard that Rodgers and Page were teaming up together. And then they give us this garbage. One of the worst songs of all time. At least some of their tracks fared a little better.

  • WTTG in DC used to play this song in a promo for "The Flintstones" airing on weekday afternoons. This of course was before fox really had any kind of original programming besides a handful of shows in primetime.

  • how the fuck is led zeppelin bad? you're a dumbass.

  • You need your music appreciation distributed to you by supository pal...........

  • You say Led Zeppelin was a bad band?

Everyone knows that's bullshit. End of this discussion.

  • 1) Some people like Led Zeppelin. Not everyone likes Led Zeppelin.

    2) Popular opinion does not indicate quality. It indicates commercial accesibility

  • They got popular because people liked them. It's as simple as that.

  • I hear ya, Led Zeppelin can kick Bon Jovi's ass any time

  • What???? where did tht comment come from...did anyone mention Bon Jovi...Sorry but he doesn't serve a postion that is called Rock N Roll...2 mellow, he's like country...lol..just had 2 get that 1 out...don't mean 2 b rude...

  • I hear ya zeppelinwoman, but there are a few misbegotten souls who think that Bon Jovi is in the same league as the Mighty Zep. Love your name

  • oh there u r...lol....hahaha thats sooo...funny..they should have a song...u give rock a bad name...lol...No1 can touch The Mighty Led Zeppelin...

  • Jimmy Page......Yikes!!

  • heres what i would like to see and think would be really cool and i know there will be people who think i'm crazy or wrong but here it is

    Paul Rodgers:Vocals

    Jimmy Page:Guitar

    Slash:Guitar

Randy Rhoads:Guitar (yes i know randys dead)

    Cliff Burton:Bass

    Eric Singer:Drums

it would also be cool in my opinion if Randy Jimmy and slash could do a Lynard Skynard thing where they switch between rythm and lead and they each have a solo a song. ok this is just me and what i think alright.

  • sounds good bring john bonham in there on drums and john entwhistle on bass

  • JPJ!

  • let's swap randy with steve vai ?

  • A BIG THANKS for posting this!

  • they totally sold out but something about it is really good Love it

  • Tony Franklin was NEVER in Whitesanke! He eventually went on to play in Blue Murder with John Sykes who was in Whitesnake.

  • WOW! I had no idea this was Jimmy Page playing guitar... I knew Paul Rogers' voice right off. Maybe it's just too 80's or the drugs, but Jimmy sounds horrible.

  • I actually really liked this song when it first came out. Hearing it now after at least 15 years of not hearing it still feels good if not a little dated.

  • Jimmy Page...is Radioactive! Love u Jimmy!!!!

  • The band was made up of Jimmy Page Led Zeppelin, Paul Rodgers - Bad Company, Tony Franklin - Whitesnake, Chris slade- AC/DC Drummer

  • Crap

  • How long have you been sheltered If you look up on Jimmy page website you will see for yourself.

When you stick you foot in your mouth make sure you wash your feet first.

  • How clueless can you be? You're either blind, deaf or slow. That's definitely Jimmy Page! You're aware of groups like Deep Purple & The Firm, & yet you can't recognize Page here? What's wrong w/you? He'd been playing that double neck Gibson for about a decade prior to this video. It's also Paul Rogers from Bad Company. Blackmore? Not quite. He was making records with Rainbow. I'm not even a fan but had to make a comment after reading about your complete lack of musical knowledge (or eyesight).

  • BS, Jimmy Page did not play with the firm. Look at the damned video for crying out loud. That does not look like Jimmy Page at all. Look at some Deep Purple live videos man. Blackmore and Page don't look alike. Get a life man. Listen to the guitar playing and listen to Deep Purple. They are one in the same. I grew up with both Deep Purple and Led Zepplin. Guitar playing maybe similar but not in this song or record/CD, whatever.

  • it's jimmy page. ever heard of led zeppelin? they were a rock band back in the day, you might have heard one of their songs. i know it sounds crazy, but look up jimmy page. youll find he looks quite similar to the dual guitar player in the video, and that he did indeed play with the firm.

  • Dude!

Do you go around telling people that it's noon when the full moon is out, or that the color blues is actually red?

Look, it takes about two seconds to type "Jimmy Page + The Firm" into the Google search bar in order to confirm that Jimmy Page was indeed a member of the Firm.

Yes, Google is what they call a search engine. It comes in real handy if you want to back up your suppositions about something before commenting. You could end up looking like an fool if you don't.

  • Look up The Firm on google. You will see that Jimmy Page did indeed play guitar for them. And you're wrong about this video as well. That most certainly is Jimmy Page in the black boots.

  • my friend,do yourself a favor,go to your local c.d store and buy the 2 c.d's that they put out, read the inside of the sleeve and try to tell us that its not james patrick page!

  • Paul looks like he could be a Gibb brother.

  • That is Paul Rodgers but not Jimmy Page. It's Richie Blackmore of Deep Purple. Have the album and all the information about the firm.

  • That is just crap... I have the album here with me now and IT IS Jimmy Page.

  • If you really did have the album, and if you weren't illiterate, you would see that it is Jimmy Page, not Ritchie Blackmore.

  • Love this song! I haven't heard it since I was a freshman in High School. Anyone remember their version of You Lost That Loving Feeling?

  • Is that Paul Rodgers from Bad Company, and Jimmy Page? Who are the other's in the band?

  • Tony Franklin on bass and Chris Slade on drums. Everyone's so bloody perfect here. One of their finest songs!

  • The Firm were great

  • Oh I sooo love this song!

  • The guy playing drums looks like Kane from WWE

  • it's on the pure 80's dvd, pick it up at walmart....

  • I never shop at walmart..personal :)

  • Other stores may have it too.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Glad I could help!

  • Thanks for posting, elconquistador, great song, decent-ish sound.

  • Tony...one of the great bassist. Had some great moves too! Seen the Firm at the Forum in 19??. It was a great show...Jimmy was sober and on top of his shit which was rare in them days! Paul...always great...always will be one of the great R&B singers!
