You can't entirely bag this game. For one it was one of the first attempts at sandbox. There is unfortunately still no decent sandbox Batman game where you have the choice of driving the Batmobile or Robin/Batgirl's bike. Arkham City will not have any vehicles in it. I hope they make a sandbox Batman soon something like LA Noire but with more gadgets.

Exccept for having to figure out clues...that part of the B&R game was alright..and there's more payoff than just hearing a villan get captured (For example, getting to all the diamonds before Freeze kept him from being much, much stronger in the final battle)

In one moment you said Batgirl was the best choice cause she's fast , light (not falling in breakable floors like batman or robin) and she was doing better moves than the other 2. Thats what i thought too, when i firslty played the game. But believe me i realised after time that Batman was the best choice. He is truly slow, heavy and has low agility, but he has the best weapon for killing anemies, "Strength". No other character can deafet that easily like batman the enemies.

Truly that game is very hard but when it came out it was really realistic and with very good graphics, the facts that made the game being hated by many people is that its hard, characters cannot deafet multiple enemies, the city was like "isolated" and "spooky" and the clues where hard to find, except if you know the trick for the next mission.

I remember this game. I had nightmares the first time I saw the death scene. And the death scene was like, everywhere; if you failed a mission, if you got killed, if you walked too far from the boundaries of the map, if the game decided it hated you... Was this the beginning of the end for Psygnosis? I mean, I always felt Psygnosis produced some really great games, Galahad, Flink, Lemmings, WipeOut and that game with the Lemmings Knight (forget his name).
