Wait, you can poison it? A lot of guides say that if you use poison, it doesn't count. Is that new or something or are they wrong? Lol, 62 strength xp, 34 defense xp and 18 range xp, I can't afford to mess it up.

The thing that is cool is, you only need the one you key you have.

You have your partner right there with you, and as you open the door to the tunnel/cave your partner goes in it right as you open in, then you follow it...

What I think you're trying to say i how did it count as me beating it?

Well the poison from my friend's DDS killed it and the poison acts as if it's a ring of recoil and the game thinks it was me that killed it..

At-least that is my theory...
