Keep on, in my opinion one of not many almost perfect cars and good driving, pearhaps you rev it more when downshifting, sometimes it locks your rear wheels. Cheers
Yes, stock shocks with 84.000 kms. I am in the process of selling the car, but if I don't, I will rebuild them or change.... but they still working avg good!

I can speak only for difference between MY car, and the others 2 together. You can see the difference on the straights. I have the short pinion/rack so I loose more time for change gears, but the difference is huge. If the other drivers had my same driving skill, I probably get 3/5 seconds every lap...
Some laps before this video, I did the same only with the black 997, without filming. The difference was slighty the same (but certainly the driver was also less skilled)

No, the problem was not the downshifting, I was really fast, maybe a little bit too, and the white car in front was definitley to slow :)

Why are you using left-foot braking? For example in 1:44?

it's to be sure that the brakes are ok for the next braking. if you feel that the pedal response is not good, then you have the time to slow down
