We agreed at the KOffice developer sprint that the code can be contributed to the KOffice trunk itself instead of opening up a seperate open source project for the same. So we have submitted our code to KOffice review board. After fixing the required things it should be available in KOffice project directly.. I think this could still take a few weeks to be available

so this will be only a viewer right? any idea if there'll be some kind of editor too? most advanced document editor we can expect?

For the moment it will be only an viewer. In future it depends on the community interest. it could lead to a editor as well. I see good interest to enable editing functionality as well
