I watched some of the Barcelona game this week. I was not impressed with Rubio at all. Probably a good move to stay in Europe instead of coming to the NBA.
At this moment he is just an average PG in Europe, it seems he's not developing the way people thought he would although he's been given plenty of playing time. His has a fragile physique (has problems with stronger PG's), a bad shot and sometimes tries to do too much with all the flashy passes. He's getting more minutes in Barcelona than he should (they're trying to develop his talent), Jaka Lakovic is playing better basketball at the moment and should see more minutes at the PG spot...
IF he even starts in a nba game, i want to see how he matches up with the top 3 guards in the league. Chris paul, derrick, rose, deron williams. I personally think he'd get chewed up by those three guards pretty badly. Kids got a great future but i don't see him in a starting lineup for a while.
Rubio picked Chris Paul in the Gold Medal game. And shook Kidd on a behind the back dribble and drove all the way to the rim before he got fouled. And that was against Kobe, Dwight, Bron, Melo and J-Kidd. So to say he wouldnt start in the L when Mo Williams and Beno Udric do is retarded quite frankly.

IF he even starts in a nba game, i want to see how he matches up with the top 3 guards in the league. Chris paul, derrick, rose, deron williams. I personally think he'd get chewed up by those three guards pretty badly. Kids got a great future but i don't see him in a starting lineup for a while.

Rubio picked Chris Paul in the Gold Medal game. And shook Kidd on a behind the back dribble and drove all the way to the rim before he got fouled. And that was against Kobe, Dwight, Bron, Melo and J-Kidd. So to say he wouldnt start in the L when Mo Williams and Beno Udric do is retarded quite frankly.

dont believe in rubios hype...all of the success he is supposed to have is based off assumption on potential. guess what he averaged in his last year before the draft? 10 points and 6 assists a game. the NBA is also much tougher then what rubio played in...you see him walk right by the defense so many times in this video. that will NOT happen in the nba. keep flynn as the big PG in minnesota...

And Flynn's rookie season was trash, he doesnt have a clue how to run an offense.
Ur a damn fool if you think the Big East is a stronger league of preparation than the Euroleague, universally regarded as the 2nd best league in the world.

@sauld420 as a rookie, flynn put up 14 PPG, 5 APG, and 2 RPG on pretty good shooting. thats great for a rookie. i think that the NBA is better than the euroleague, because the NBA is universally regarded as the best league in the world...and flynn is doing more in the NBA than rubio did in the euroleague

@sauld420 brandon jennings is terribly overrated...he is one of the most inconsistent shooters in the NBA and only shot 36% last year. also, his numbers are pretty identical to flynns...15 PPG for jennings, 14 for flynn. 6 APG for jennings, 5 for flynn...3 RPG for jennings, 2 for flynn...and flynn shot way better.

yeah except Jennings team went to the playoffs and the toothless wolves won 18% of their games, oh and jennings finished 3rd in ROY vote and Flynn finished roughly 20th. But other than that they are pretty equal. Oh wait. Basketball is more than just looking up offensive statistics. But you cant tell that to retards so keep going what else u got lol?

@sauld420 maybe the bucks went to the playoffs because andrew bogut had one of the best years of his career? the john salmons trade was better than drafting jennings because salmons put up 20 points a game shooting 10% higher than jennings did. all flynn has is al jefferson, who is lazy on defense and had one of his worst years of hsi career

Maybe big al didnt play well because they got a ballhoging PG who doesnt know who to give his teammates the ball in the right positions to score.
And they played damn near all year without Michael Redd.

@sauld420 how is flynn a ballhog but jennings isnt? they put up the same amount of assists, except jennings just happened to jack up so many more shots. and of course jennings team is better because his team had 6 other 10+ PPG scorers (not even counting redd). flynns has 4. thats 20 more PPG coming out of players besides jennings
