Between the wire bottomed cage and pine shavings this guy gives some royally bad advice for chins. Please don't listen to him, or you will end up with a really unhappy pet.
wire bottom; you forgot to add that they need a solid flooring being that if you don't allow their feeting to rest off the wire , they will most likely get bumble foot.

DO NOT SPRAY CHINCHILLA WITH WATER! their fur is dense and will contain the water and will usually get fungus infections leading to death

Pine shavings are toxic to them I use the paper shredded kaytee brand.

Pine shavings should not be used for the bedding. Use aspen or Carefresh bedding instead.
