Kobe a genius leader?? When?? Where was his leadership skills during the sweep?? It's easy to say he's a leader when he's winning but a true leader can face adversity. Kobe was non existent in major losses to the Suns in '06 and '07 and just recently in 2011 against the Mavs.
You also need to take into account that kobe was playing when things were a lot tougher, as mj says, back in his times he'd have scored 100 points from free throw. Taking the differences in basketball rule changes into account you can't say lebron is better than kobe because he was the youngest player to score 15000 points. Sure lebron is a great player, in fact one of my favourites. but stats can measure kobe broke many records, most 3 pt made in game, most pts scored etc. They're both good.

Maybe LeBron joins Miami Heat for 2 reasons:
1. To get a RING, and Trophy.
2. To be better than Kobe Bryant. although both wade and james join together to beat the Kobe.
Thoughts about it: everybody in ESPN, NBA TV, and all sports channel, saying Kobe is better than LeBron and EVEN MICHAEL JORDAN which I think the greatest player of all time, agrees the debate. but except to those people don't have a big names. like me and us. Jordan spoke of an already well accomplished Kobe in his 13th season vs a relatively young and inexperienced LeBron in his 6th-7th season. You also need to take into account that kobe was playing when things were a lot tougher, as mj says, back in his times he'd have scored 100 points from free throw. Taking the differences in basketball rule changes into account you can't say lebron is better than kobe because he was the youngest player to score 15000 points. Sure lebron is a great player, in fact one of my favourites. but stats can measure kobe broke many records, most 3 pt made in game, most pts scored etc. They're both good.

@sooietube LeBron does have better Atheltisicm and is more entertaining but Skills wise i have to give it to Kobe like cmon,LeBrons time will coem but right now Lakers are still the best and so is Kobe, Michael jordan dint win his 1st ring till he was 28... Stats can never measure of the difference of rings that Kobe and Lebron difference in.
Lebron has the same amount of rings I have, and I've never set foot in the court to play in the NBA. Meanwhile Kobe shines so many rings, even if he gave each of my family members 1 ring, he'd still have more.
