Personally, I think the Pod sounds like plastic junk, the GNX1 seems like it has too much saturation (almost noisy) and the RP200 sounds warmer but somewhat muffled. Certain factors could have to do with the amp and room these are being demo'd in tho, as with all gear..
You got skills, dude. I'm thinking about getting the Digitech RP200 from my father in law for cheap.
Can you change to clean and distortion easily? And would you be able to use a different effect for solos and then go back to distortion easily? I might not be wording it right...but some songs have a certain effect just for a solo while everything else sounds different, like a huge reverb/echo sound.
@lbizkit552 um the rp 200 is ok but i would go with an rp 500 you can turn effects on and off for soloing the rp200 is sub par really good tones though but save 300 plus tax and get a rp 500
I would've liked to hear them recorded direct, but I preferred the POD the best. They all sounded quite decent though. Gear has gotten quite good nowadays - honestly, there's not really much out there that just completely sucks anymore.
thanks dude you play some killer ac dc sounding stuff man, make another demo of the rp 1000 and compare to one of the amps you have but if you do this turn off the cab sim on the rp 1000 and it will sound more natural rock on dude
